CCP Party while watching HSer's burn on Mad Ani!

Apparently according to Mad Ani

CCP were having a massive part last night. We can only presume to celebrate the success of the latest event and were watching most of HS get killed on a big projector at the Head Offices....

If this is the case not only is it a little distasteful but clearly shows why the dev's disappeared halfway through and what was really happening yesterday.

Also i wonder if they were trying to push more fleets through to get destroyed for the entertainment value of their colleagues watching upstairs...?

Perhaps if they spent a little less time partying the event might have gone a little better lol

Possibly it is time for the owner/shareholders of CCP to read these forums and go to the offices for a little discussion?Roll

I can just see them all standing their now. Booze flowing cheering as another 250 ships explode on a gate lol

I must admit it would be great entertainment and beat any movie if you had no vested interest in the game.

I think it was this:

If a Pilot posts about TiDi in Local: 2 fingers of your drink
If a Pilot dies in a ball of flame then it's a flaming shot
If someone posts in ANY chat channel "WTF" then it's two shots
If anyone at all gets out alive then someone is getting fired.

The contempt shown for the participants in this fiasco is unbelievable.

I think for the last few remaining players that were still up they played this at high volume while cursing at the screen and shuoting (spit flying as they did so) "Die you carebear hi-sec loving roid eating noob helping SOB!!!"

Have you ever been to Iceland?

Don't get me wrong, I like the place. I have family there, hell, my kids are half Icelandic. There isn't a whole lot to do though. The night life in Reykjavik is really limited to walking up Laugavegur, milling about down on the flats by the Althingi, or finding a someplace fun to eat. Hafnafordur (pronounced Hap-na-fyor-thur) has a couple spots I like. There is a bit to do down by the airport in Keflavik, mostly because of the old Nato base. Just try and forget that eyesore of a, whatever that is, which is really a pile of dirt on the Reykjansbraut headed out of town. The locals don't understand it either. If you really want to drive you can head to Akureyri, I like that town as well.

Point is it is cold, dark and windy out there right now. If I was there, I would be partying as well...

Just remember the Black Death goes with the Rotten Shark. If you are going to do tourist things, do them properly...

Cut them some slack.

I got a pod out alive from 8V. Not entirely sure how given I hit several bubbles with camps on the way out. And every gate was littered with wrecks. Was funny bouncing about planets trying to find clear routes to gates.

Though, on the event side, I also have posted my thoughts about the fiasco.
