LIVE EVENT , FANFEST 2014

so.. let me guess.

you arrive in Iceland, then you wait at the Airport for hours until someone posts a Twiter note saying you have to go to a remote Fjord in the middle of a lava field located 2 days travel from the place where Judas lost his boots..

To get there you will have to put your all family in a Taxi driven by a half blind raving lunatic that shot all the gears except the 1

After arriving "there" .. there will be no more official contacts with CCP , and if the need arises CCP will deny any knowledge of your existence.

You will then cross stares with the hundreds of other families stranded in this remote location.. and just then Eyjafjallajökull volcano will begin throwing the eruption of the century while CCP watches a live feed in giant screens of all the people running for their lives.

And last.. you expect this people to pay YOU in full for your services...Lol


The "EVENT" last night... +1 for this "organization"


PS- plz remind me of this post before I even think of attending anything organized by CCP Shocked

Couple things.

You were not driven, you made a choice to walk there.

Second, you were a moron if you went towards a smoking volcano and expected to survive.

First- I survived ;) and did shoot at some nice targets that dared come my way

Second- I do not move a fleet with plenty of newbies through NULL without at least a destination.

Third - THIS was a CCP ORGANIZED LIVE EVENT

and last but not least ..

I was left on a gate in command of my fleet, and in total there were 764 other people WAITING for a DESTINATION that never materialized.

on an aside note: I would NEVER move a fleet through NULL without an OFFICIAL DESTINATION and any one that does deserves what he gets.

WE HELD that gate.. then we dispersed

now the funny thing is, most of those there were PAYING pilots ( most were newbies ) so now CCP spits on the plate it eats from.

right now I'm rather fond of the idea that you're too full of yourself to see straight.

but since you want to go down that road.. the same could be said of the other 764 people left behind on that gate.

Why would they even think that CCP should have to babysit them? hell CCP demonstrated in the utmost detail and attention just how UNIMPORTANT we all were.

I mean UNINPORTANT to the point that CCP could not care less about US .. the PAYING clients of EVE.

and your comments only give credence to the fact that CCP is "playing" to a "certain" player base, and F*** the rest.

I Concur with all you are saying Sneaky Jack, CCP drop the mutha _'ing ball on this one, travel 20 jumps with about 30 others from our home in the middle of nowhere to travel another to another spot to learn that I have to back track and because there was no event channel for each side. And then find that really no one really knows where we are truely going but if we complain about the ones who don't like to share the ball if it isn't the game they want to play call us whiners.

I t might be a sandbox but everyone pays for the sand to be in the box, if you want to cut us out of the game, just remember this THERE WILL BE NO GAME for you to play

CCP NEEDS to learn , EVE is NOT just PvP, and not catering for the PVE crew will hasten the end of EVE.


People just leave...

on the other hand the callousness of CCP in leaving HUNDREDS of players in the middle of nowhere bodes well for the HAPPINESS factor of EVE.
were all VERY happy with how CCP GANKED newbies and PAYING players.

Not just Jita, How about we the 'Carebears' go on burning/killing spree and clear all the WHs, Null and Low of POSs and hear Them cry about how they lost everything and rage quit, no wait CCP has made it harder for you to do that, but a couple of gankers can clear the newbies out so they stop playing, and costs all of us real new players.

With out new players this game will just become all alts. And then NO MORE Eve for us all

It may very well come to that. the way it's going I can see that happening, and it has happened before

REMEMBER CCP? just in my old corp over 30 people quit for years ;) something to do with TECH II items and GOON
those 30 people all had second and sometimes third paying accounts

and yet .. only SILENCE from CCP not even a "sorry we messed up"
