An innocent man has been imprisoned! Your fellow citizen has been shackled for standing his ground!

Are you going to stand for this as an innocent man rots for merely defending himself against racism and bigotry?

As many of you have likely read this article by now, this line has probably caught your eye:

"The Synchelle police have said they do not comment on ongoing legal cases, but announced a trial date is set for October 15th."

Therefore, on October 15, in Synchelle, at approximately EVE Time 2000, we will stage a protest at the Federal Navy Academy calling for the release of Kinhar Elokur. Hopefully, our united loud voices and sheer numbers will be enough to compel the Synchelle courts to reconsider the charges against Elokur.

I totally support this sorta thing. CCP help define the world, but it's up to us to make the impact in it. While in character I'm at best indifferent and at worst openly hostile to pretty much any live event not started by my corp or someone who's name starts with Citizen, I can totally get behind this out of character. Unfortunately at the point in time this is scheduled I'll be at work. But I wish this event the best of luck.

Ladies and gentlemen:

A private donation of 1,000,000,000 (1.00 billion) has been offered to help fund this protest effort!

Before we choose to actually accept the donation, however, we are currently working on deciding how best to spend the fund.

We are considering purchasing ships such as Rifters or Stabbers for the protest attendants.

Or the fund could be used to help refund individuals who lose ships to any sort of hostilities. We're still discussing it in hopes of reaching an ethically acceptable solution.

We have since accepted the donation, and devised a course of action by which to make use of the fund!

I would suggest T1 logi cruisers. Cheap. Effective and don't need high skills.

Is he guilty, not guilty or innocent? Is he the victim and or the offender? Who stands to gain as a result of the act?

Neither we nor the investigators know yet. Details are sparse.
