This was never about more ganking power for the New Order. It was about a CCP representative saying that the New Order is not the same as the CFC so the rules don't apply to the New Order. It's saying the New Order is not a group a players but the CFC is.

Also why do EVE players whine so much?

EVE players are like spoiled children of wealthy parents who complain every time their slippers chaff.

We are often the ones attempting to keep EVE fun and CCP honest. So when one of those 2 things is not happening you see us post. We do enjoy EVE and don't want to see CCP screw it up anymore than necessary. This one clearly isn't necessary and highlights a GM team that doesn't understand their own rules.

I'm not a goon, hell, i don't even really like goons. The point is that CCP has made a distinction favoring CFC over New Order, and outright said that anyone can impersonate people in the New Order, but that if you impersonate a member of CFC, you'll be banned.

It'll all be alright, folks. CCP just needs to do some damage control. Arbitrarily applied rules are often best applied in the dark, away from discussion.

Perhaps if Scotty had been treated a bit better, it would never have come to this.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise
