Suggestion: Can we have coloring feature for specific ship types on D-Scan ? like for an example coloring Catalyst red in ship type column, so whenever catalyst on d-scan I can notice it instantly rather than reading the whole list of short range nearby ships. This is very useful feature especially in small/ busy system / on the pipe between market hubs.

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.

This is like the Jump / Bridge thing on Titans. And will probably be never changed.



No its a simple change should they desire to do it if he's talking about the actual module icon rather than in-space symbol for a beacon. One could simply invert the colors in the icon to differentiate. Or if you wanna go classy...well maybe have it be silver and blue for the covert.

If you got that way the fact that there is a cyno you can use near by it pops up on the HUD would be nice. Different icons would be nice in that situation

This has probably been suggested already, but in case it has not: can we please have the inventory remember last opened location? For instance, If the last opened location was 'item hangar', it should open on dockup in the next station/on the next login.

Also, text on the 90% UI scaling is barely readable due to the extremely small size, especially on tabs, etc. Could it remain the same as on 100% scaling?

Note: If it is not possible for the clone to retain its name after jumping into it, that is an acceptable compromise. After all, that is when implant change or loss can occur.

JCs are fit-for-purpose husks, exactly like ship hulls. I have 8 JCs that change location much more frequently than they change implants. Also some of my implant sets are very similar and take several seconds of consideration if I have 3 parked in the same system (which is much more viable now that we can have up to 10).

Very much agree. When unpacking a ship it will automatically generate PersonFolk McVeryLongname's Scorpion Navy Issue, which sits perfectly fine in Dscan or target info, but try to rename and the end is already cut off. Kinda like Twitter, you get more mileage out of unicode characters since it just seems to be a string limit.

Sooo... you want the Scale UI feature to not scale the UI? You're actually asking for a different feature which is independent text scaling. I can tell you from experience with Windows, Mac, and websites that this is an incredibly successful way to break a fixed/raster UI beyond all usability. Non trivial to test, and across multiple languages too.
The true value of uniformly scaling a UI is when screen sizes and resolutions are completely different. 90% will be totally readable if your screen is 2" - 5" larger. There is probably a formula for it. Sorry I can't buy you a bigger monitor in the meanwhile. Blink

I would like to throw in the suggestion of a button being added in the interface options that makes it impossible for my currently opened windows on my interface to be moved, re-sized, minimized or closed. I don't need my overview or my scanner ever closing.

If you try to start training on an alt when another character on the same account is already training, it would be nice to have the ability to pause that training without logging out and back in again - twice.

I could really use a way to turn off all these screen cluttering tooltips.

I'm sure someone else has mentioned it in this thread, but it can't be stated enough.

I have been asking for the ability to name jump clones for many, many years. Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have the ability to name our jumpclones?!?!?!?!?!
example...sniper....recon....dred.....mac... ect. Now with even more jumpclones its a real mess trying to figure out which is which at a glance.

Suggestion : remove outdated bills

Note:

Ability to remove bills that are outdated, and no one will pay.
For example : bugged wardec mechanic caused that many alliances\corporations have unpaid war bills for like a year now.
As this mechanic was abused you have to scroll this list down.

  • Please add the OPTION to remote stop skill training for any of 3 characters on the SAME account. It gets so damn tedious to login a character for 5 sec to stop training and then a log different one to switch training to.

More Drag and Drop coolness, you missed one :D.

I really like the efforts by the UI team so far with all the drag and drop functionality. It would be great if drag and drop would work for dragging stations into the 'destination' field in the 3rd step of creating a courier contract.

I guess it might be a little tricky, 'station' object's can be dragged from a lot of places, like chat links (that may not have the full stations name), top left neocom, show info windows (show info window pictures).

Suggestion: graphic indicator of skill status on skillbook icons

Note: No current way to easily tell if your books are needed, ready for insertion/training, etc.

If you buy skillbooks in advance--for training an alt not based in Highsec, for example--you will acquire a stack of skillbooks for your plan. However, to determine if a book you own can be inserted (trained) you must either open the character skill list, attempt to insert the book (and fail with a popup, often), or go to the marketplace and look at the skills listing in each category then re-check the hanger to see if you have that skill.

Much easier: include a tiny corner indicator (as done with T2, faction, complex and officer modules) showing whether a given skill from a skillbook is "not trainable", "trainable" or "trained" -- in that order.

Suggestion / bugfix: preserve selected tab by name when repeatedly opening character info sheets.

Today the EvE client preserves the positional number of the previously selected tab ... for example if you open the Employment History on one sheet with a Bio and then open another sheet without, the pre-selected tab is not Employment History but Notes. This is annoying if you quickly want to check the history of chars in chat ...
