I would love, Love, LOVE, an "or" option when I edit inventory filters. Currently we have "all" and "any".

Since we're talking about small things... Could we make supercarriers slightly larger? Machariels are almost as big as them. Well, actually the axis meter amount says half but anyway. The first time I saw a supercarrier compared to normal carrier and a titan I was kind of shocked they were so small.

Sun brightness occluding names.

Basically what it says Id love to see a fix of this somehow. The brightness of the sun in many systems in relation to the white names means that for anoms, sigs and any other celestial name it often washes out the name entirely so you cant read it quickly or accurately. Id love to see this fixed somehow.

I love the new suns and background but the washing out of names and such under certain conditions leaves a lot to be desired. The bmks and such against certain nebulae backgrounds and other such issues are much the same.

As mentioned in the linked post, the horizontal "growth" direction of targets is not currently customizeable, which can be quite annoying when using the Camera Center option to center gameplay on the left of two monitors.

Having an option in the right-click menu for the anchor to select the direction, would be awesome...and hopefully a Little Thing :)

You can select if it should go vertical or horizontal right now you know. Sure adding a bit more customization might be good, but it IS possible.

I'd like to see an option to customize local chat..
For example: make it so neutrals and those with negative standing appear at the top of the pilots in system instead of in alphabetical order..

Show drone control range in the fitting window.

Increase the number of personal ship fittings from 200 to 500.

Warp disruption bubbles should pull the ship landing on it to the center of the bubble..

I know not so little of an idea but..
In-game lottery system...
So we can create a lottery for a selected item or a pot limit.
Set entry fee. ( isk goes to an escrow, then to the person setting up the lottery once the lottery is complete.)
And option to restrict people to either one entry per person or the option to buy in on multipal entries.
Set number of entries from let's say 10- 500.
Then once all slots are full the system automatically selects a random winner and deposit the prize in the winners hanger.
If slots are not filled in a set amount of time or if the lottery is cancelled their deposit is returned.
And of course ccp gets a tax% of the deposit amounts.
This would make for great scam free fun in game..

Since the latest patch the Asset Window (Alt+T) will now do a search for everything as soon as you open it. An issue with this is if you left the Asset Window open when you logged off, when you log back on it opens up and does a search when it opens. Then if I buy anything or accept a contract (usually the first thing I do), I have to wait 5 minutes for it to refresh or log off and back on again to get a fresh search.

I would rather it search when I tell it to if there is going to be a 5 minute delay until I can do a fresh search again.

Suggestion: Add saved fitting presets of the currently active ship directly to the fitting window.

This might have been suggested before, but what about a small list of presets/saved fittings that gets shown directly on the fitting window, e.g. like this: http://puu.sh/n2X4E/cb21229f71.jpg.

It'll of course show only the fittings that can actually be applied to the active ship, so no Maulus fittings for a Phobos. Currently, browsing the saved fittings list is very tedious, especially when you have a lot of saved fits.

This could also be used to switch fits on the fly (except rigs ofc) - no more hassle when you just want to log in, fita ship quickly with one click and go lose it in a huge fire. Then refit with one click.

right so not sure whats been said just giving my ideas as that's all my brain is good for.

  • t2 bastion modules
  • a remove & remove all from a drop down on the skills training queue instead of individually having to remove one at a time.
  • ships and modules set up to allow for single button skill queue add/set to front for training.
  • with this new camera set up we should have away to select the camera to still track selected items.
  • t2 ships for the 1 off t1's like abaddon, talos, hyperion, what not


for what used to be called bad ideas 1line thread

  • faction t2 ships and access to faction Destroyers/B. Cruisers (npc's use those sizes, lets be able to use them also)
  • Jova/drifter cartel/sleeper access similar to deadspace/officer mod (of course they would have to be worked out in the same way)

Suggestion: Add "Search Assets" to the right-click menu for items

A nice way to search to see if you have any of a certain item stashed away in some corner of the universe.. When you select "Search Assets", it opens/focuses your Asset window, switches to Search tab, populates the search field with the item name, and then runs the search.

Suggestion: adding the Job ID # seen in wallets to the industry screen.

Note: Some times it can become convuluted when a lot of things are being built continuosly, can see a job id number in corp wallets but unable to identify a price transaction to a specific job using the job ID#. Would be nice to have even this little bit of info to better track things finiacially.

Suggestion: Separating the Spaceship command skills in the market and skillqueue sections into racial sections and a non-racial section.

Keywords: UI, simplicity, usability.

Notes: The number of racial ship skills is increasing regularly. Right now, there are 13 racial skills (including FAXes), and this makes the spaceship command section an unwieldy mess. I have 38 spaceship skills, and using the search bar has become a requirement rather than an efficiency. The next largest category for me is Gunnery with 24.

Spaceship Command is by far the largest category with 80! skills. It's become hard to navigate.

Suggestion: Add the ability to set a GLOBAL hotkey which brings that EVE client to the foreground.

Suggestion: Add advanced options to control the positioning of the client window when in foreground / background.

Keywords: graphics options

Note: with the new multi-login Launcher being beta-ed this would bring us one step closer to not needing 3rd party multi-box window management software.

For each of foreground/background, the options needed would be:


  • Display: drop-down select from available monitors
  • Left: numeric input in pixels
  • Top: numeric input in pixels
  • Width: numeric input in pixels
  • Height: numeric input in pixels
  • Borderless: checkbox


These option sets would only be enabled / used when the client is not in FullScreen mode.

This would allow us to set two exact positions / sizes for the window and have the client automatically resize / position itself when it gains / loses focus amongst other applications. It is also important than the background width/height do not change the rendering target, but simply perform a scaling (ex. the game would continue to render my background windows at 1920x1080, but scale them down and display them in a 480x270 window). This would ensure the UI positioning would not get broken.
