Please educate me bro cause I don't know of anyway to detect a cloaked ship other than to accidently bump into them.

See that window called local? That one. That lets you detect their presence in system 100% of the time with 100% accuracy for absolutely free.

Wait, you want MORE than that? You want to remove absolutely every little bit of uncertainty and risk there is in nullsec?

Sorry, nope!

Did I say I wanted all risk removed? DID I?? DIIIIIDDDDD IIIIIII?????? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! you pompous troll, i did not!

Not directly, but calls to be able to find cloaked ships, or to determine whether they're afk, are by definition the removal of uncertainty and risk in nullsec.

Since local is currently extremely overpowered and a resident of a system can warp off and "get safe" before an adversary has even finished loading into system, the only options left are prolonged cloaking. If you nerf that ability, you remove ALL uncertainty and risk.

Of course, no one directly says "remove all uncertainty and risk", they are dishonest about it and make elaborate smokescreens. I'm here to expose the truth.

Wrong.
At most it's reduced uncertainty and risk, and not that heavily reduced at that. You just want nice easy kills, coward.

*waah* local ruins my chance at ganking people because they see me coming, are active at their PC and warp away swiftly *waah* I want a way to make it so they have no choice but to be engaged in combat by a PvP ready pilot, and anything they say against that make them weak *waah*
That is essentially all I see when I read any of your posts. You are essentially crying that your already easy kills are not easy enough when the player is actively watching out for you, and you want them to have no chance to survive, and fight only on your term. And that makes us the risk averse ones.

Lucas, you can lie and smear and act like a baby all you want, but it is quite evident from my posts that I have never asked for easy kills, only to maintain balance and risk. You, on the other hand, want to remove such balances and risk.

You have never even once tried to address the fact that your position is imbalanced, all you do is post garbage ad hominem

If you put as much effort into defending yourself and your space as you did calling for CCP to do it for you, your activities would be quite safe and profitable

Here is a possible solution to afk cloakers

When a ship cloaks they also "cloak" in the local list. Then you don't know they are there and it's not a problem anymore.

The fix AFK cloaking needs. Make it happen CCP.

Solution to afk cloakers is move into wormholes

I used to be called 'Sturmabteilung' but CCP said it was offensive.

Damn, this clocking problem must be serious... its about time someone did something... its fairly widespread, so its not like its a minute problem.

Just hit snooze for a while and wait for the problem to be fixed? Watch the gates and wait for them?

Nah, I'm out, I got nothin' else...

Edit: gotta hand it to these clockers, though, they're efficient.

Damn those clockers. Damn them to Hell for all time!

What exactly is the problem with all trollers? Calling 'everybody' whiners does not make someone a likable person.

AFK Cloakers are annoying. Ofc one solution is to calculate some odds and keep doing business within those parameters. This can make the threat of a bomber attack exciting and entertaining. Besides if the bomber is solo then he/she quite often tries his/her luck and a solo Stealth Bomber is an easy match.

But it is problematic that you can take such a small ship into anywhere and hide it to aim and work very efficiently agains all sorts of business of the locals in the system. Puts the Balance of Terror very much off Balance. NULL should be fun and attractive to many in addition to being lawless space (which already makes it very attractive to a considerable minority).

Reading these threads I find myself losing valuable time. There must be a clocking issue.

find out who the afk cloaker is...

if they are in a neutral corp... find out who they fly with and camp their null sec.
if they got multiple systems send more afk cloakers.

There is a simple solution to the AFK cloaker problem. Move to W-Space and you can't see them in local so you don't have to worry any more.

The fun part is that generally - I'm sure - these AFK cloacker are their own corp-mates' alts; null bears are cannibals, they do not cooperate (exactly as HS carebears) and try to **** one each otehr. So they set AFK alts to keep their corp or alliance mates away and save the better PVE resources for their own.

It's all a self-referential drama.

Nail on the head.

Only reason afk cloaking happens is because their big fat name appears in the local channel.

AFK Cloaking - for weeks... is broken...

AFK for a whole week!? That is pretty OP. CCP should bring the server down once a day for an hour to make sure the afk cloakers can't afk for more than 23 hours at a time.

I remember a player saying, all you need to do to make CCP act on AFK cyno cloaking is for everyone against this mechanic to AFK camp the goons and other major alliances that CCP actually listen to for a couple of years. (I cant find the actual quote sorry).

AFK cloak does not help create combat.

There's more to war and combat than just the combat. It's called psychological warfare hon and it's just as legit as smoking guns.
