I am glad to be informed that its an ISD's role to measure the value of proposals on game balance, but have the dev's been notified of this?

I wonder though, can there be a feature added to the site to allow members to register disdain for moving threads critical of CCP to sub threads to die, or should just the +1 button be used here to do so?

i was referring to the idea of auto-undocks when i was talking about driving miners, industrialists, and the like out of the game.

Leave ISD alone FFS. They have a hell of a job to do monitoring all those "NERF CLOAKYS" threads for trolls and have rules and guides.

On Topic: The "Cannot Leave Corp During War Dec" is a catch 22:

Say you didn't want the war and couldn't get out of your Corp...you're stuck. What if your Corp is in perpetuals\multiple wars? Stuck forever? And people will unsub and EVE will die. I don;t want that but I agree jumping out during War Decs to avoid them needs to be looked at. Maybe a 30 days from War Dec Start till you can leave or something? I don't know.

I have no distain for moving threads I don't like.
I do not think this is an Anti-CCP thread.

I do think the idea is borderline Trolling

That sounds reasonable.

Any longer than that, and I would be concerned over collateral effects to pilots simply wanting to leave, but with bad timing.

Also, I would qualify, that if they had dropped roles in preparation to leave before the war was declared, they be exempt by virtue of clear intent to leave pre-existing the possible motive of avoiding a war dec.
Something like a 24 hour grace period to leave after roles dropped, so they had a chance to log in and complete the exit.

This seems like a decent balaced perspective for improving this mechanic.

You still seem to be misinformed as to the ISD, he simply did his duty in moving it to the correct forums. There are so many threads that get started in F&I they get buried quickly and tend to never resurrect.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Becoming an ISD member doesn't mean they can't offer their opinions any more.

If your ideas were more thought out and/or better, they'd still have gotten moved to F&I I bet. It is the proper sub-forum for discussion of such things.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.
