All sound except music.

I do like the EVE music, but when I run missions I get really irritated when activating a warp-gate, and the pleasant music I'm enjoying is replaced by that bloody annoying mission track X

If I could turn off (or better still nuke into oblivion) the "mission" music, I'd have the EVE jukebox playing too...

I have sounds off so that I can listen to music while playing BUT I do love the sounds in Eve, aswell as the music so sometimes i put it all back on.

i have sound On but i will turn it off when there is a lingering sound , i thought ccp fixed that but apparantly not all of it

Or when dual boxing i still sometimes have this terrible windtunnel sound

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

I have all the sounds on except the music. The problem is, even with the master level all the way up, EVE's sound is terribly out of sync with Windows Media Player, so I usually have trouble hearing it.

All sounds on though have effects turned down a lot. Depending on my mood I will be listening to eve music or my own tracklist, atm I am back listening to the eve music.

Start wide, expand further, and never look back

All sounds on, music from iTunes

Sounds are an absolutely vital part of the UI, I can't imagine playing without. Decloaking sounds, locking sound (yes I have auto-targeting on for faster reaction to being targeted), shield/armor level alerts etc.

Also, the sound designers have done a very good job. Wormhole athmosphere is awesome because of the sounds <3

No music. All other sounds on. Living in w-space sound is necessary to hear the wh's activate especially if you're tabbed over to the browser looking at interwebz pr〇n waiting for that noob to jump through.

Mixed. All sounds except music are always on, no matter the situation (missions, fleet, solo pvp,...). For music, it's different depending on the situation.

- Sometimes it's off. Usually when doing fleets.
- While doing missions, industry and other carebear stuff, EVE's music is usually on @ 10-15% volume. It nicely removes the silence and can be in the background at that volume even if I'm on teamspeak.
- I use EVE's jukebox to play some non-eve music while doing solo pvp. I don't like having multiple applications opened at the same time and EVE's jukebox does the job pretty good.

UI and World on, turrets reduced, music off

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

This topic makes me butthurt considering all the great sounds that have been removed from the game.

Pod SQUISH sound... gone.

Warp disruptor *wompwompwomp* sound (and visual)... gone.

Cloak / Decloak sound... gone.

I literally hate whoever made the decision to remove those.

Whatever "dev" it was that removed the pod squish sound probably never even logged into the game.

Using one client: Sounds turned on.
Using multiple clients: Sounds turned off. Because Sound from multiple sources always bugs with WINE.

Sounds on, music off.
No environment sounds, so no annoying station choirs, gate chatter, drone noise, turret effects, etc...

I keep sounds on, because it is a useful tool when semi-afk or when my attention is divided: the auto-lock feature makes a noise when ever someone targets me, which is always useful to know. Likewise, the autopilot notifications are useful for me to know when my freighter pilot has reached his destination.
