OH FCK - Do not read if easily offended

Hey I'm FluffyDice. Director of the corporation previously known as StarFckers Inc for 3 years. Now currently known as Eve Corporation 20111026.

As I am now aware of how deeply offensive the 3 characters F C K are when used in close proximity, I would like to bring the following quckly researched list to all of you fine pilot's and CCP's attention. I would like to see all of the corporation and characters affected renamed or banned.

Corporations:

Most notibly the corporation F**kingRetards.

Also an extremely large amount of characters using the letters F, U, C, and K all right next to each other. Fix it CCP. In the interest of of protecting the minds of those affected by this travesty.

Edit: If you cant tell this isn't the most serious of postings and I have no illusions of CCP turning around and telling me that I'm right and changing their decision.

I vote to have your corporation renamed back to StarFckers Inc.

Entirely ridiculous that CCP renamed it, given the vast number of examples of similar (and more) naming already in the system.

CCP's excuse, of course, is that they deal with these issues as players present it to them. Well, then, fix all the naming issues that FluffyDice presented.

(Please keep us apprised, Fluffy, of which character, corporation and alliance names are "fixed".)

Considering the ease at which you can just type in curse words into your PnP search bar and hit the max displayable results... how hard would it be to put in a filter for that anyway? If they want to take the hard stance at least do a proper job of it.

lol. i remember seeing some of your guys flying around and thinking about that corp name. thought you had changed the name til i read further and realized ccp did it. eve corporation 20111026 is a mouthful. lol.

Out of curiosity how does that work, do you have the ability to rename it at any given time now?

Im not entirely 100% on how the process works. From my perspective it played out as our CEO just started raging on comms about a letter from a GM telling him we had been renamed to Eve Corporation 20111026 out of the blue. Our corp name is now unlinkable while the new one is. If you show info on our characters for the time being it is still displaying StarFckers Inc. (this could be due to the cache).

I couldn't see anything obvious in corp management so I'm assuming we have the option to submit a new name to the original GM involved. It seems really petty that we have to considering the much worse examples to be found in game.

CCP GMs need to be more creative when renaming Corps and Players.

I guess a name can be very offensive to some but won't get changed until a player makes a petition complaining about it..
Make a new name suggestion thread and I'll post a few suggestions. P

If it were just me personally I would change the name to StarSckers Inc. as per the songs clean version. But to other corp members its more a part of the games history to them.
