Introduction to the Booster:
My idea involves to make EVE a more welcoming and more rewarding for totally new people in EVE. Once they subscribe, they exit trial so can use any type of ship etc assuming they have the skills. However, why does it need to take long to train up skills while the older players can use +5 implants and train quickly? Also many newer players complain of older players taking advantage of this because of "low SP and slow training" etc. This will also enhance an older players experience because they can make their out of account alt use this after subscribing.

What my Idea is this:
Add in a Modified Cerebral Accelerator (a Booster which does not get destroyed), this would add +3 to all attributes for 30 days after the player subscribes to EVE Online. This would add it to the character they select if they had multiple characters during the trial. The booster would be automatically added to not allow the booster to be sold on Market, this is to not allow a free high amount of ISK for subscribing. The Modified Cerebral Accelerator will not add in any damage bonuses, just +3 to all attributes 30 days after subscribing.

Modified Cerebral Accelerator:
+3 to all attributes. Automatically added to a players boosters once they subscribe after the player chooses the character they wish to use it on. The item will cease to function 30 days after subscribing to EVE. Player selects which character to add this booster to. Booster does not get destroyed if the player gets podded. Separate account alts can also obtain this.

How this would enhance a rookies EVE Online game:
Rookies will be able to train skills quicker and not worry about longer training times until they get used to EVE and learn their way around it. EVE is complicated and many Rookies wish to train skills quicker than usual since they are learning their way around. Also this would enhance a rookies experience since they are more likely to subscribe to EVE to obtain the item. I have played EVE as a rookie before, so have all of us EVE players, so I'd expect we all wish to train our skills quicker at the start until we eventually obtain implants.

How this would enhance CCP's game:
Rookie will more likely pay for subscription to obtain the item and use it, this means RL Money for CCP and they can improve their games even further, also creating an separate account and alt is adding a bonus to an older player is a bonus. Subscribing counts as adding game time which includes PLEX. More money for CCP means better content and a better EVE.

It's time for YOU players to discuss this, remember this does not only help rookies it can also be useful for older players who have separate accounts and even CCP! Even Devs will discuss if this thread receives enough attention. I'll be reading the replies to this thread. In the long term, this is good for older players because CCP will get more subscribers which means more money to put towards development. This was posted on an alt character not my main.

Thing is, you have to train up cybernetics to obtain implants and they are not always affordable for rookies. And even with implants you train slower because of remaps. Giving the advantage to new subscribing accounts and rookies it can really be a boost.

It's a suggestion anyway Some will hate some will love just like Marmite.

This can benefit CCP in the long-term and also enhance a Rookies EVE experience meaning the rookie will more likely subscribe, this makes CCP more Money and CCP can improve EVE online and their other games. This idea has more benefits than you'd think it would.
1) More money for CCP
2) More subscribers
3) Better Rookie experience and the Rookie will more likely subscribe for the bonus
4) Benefits separate account alts.
5) Helps CCP in the long term.

I support this Idea.

I dont see how this will benefit new players. Learning curve in EvE is not about skills - it is about general understanding of EvE, its mechanics and dependencies. Faster skill training will allow new players to board bigger ships earlier and result in higher cost of loss due to pilot inexperience which will lead to more possible ragequits or more of these threads.

And how exactly your idea will help those "terrible fittings and piloting skills"? They will get in those ships even earlier with worse fits (if that is even possible), lose that ship, blame the game and leave.

Nope read the entire post again. Only one character can have it and it is automatically added to the character so you can not sell it etc.
