I'm just going to say to CCP,

Don't fire the engineer, the is an opportunity to improve your processes. If it wasn't that guy, it would just be someone else down the road.

Would entirely depend on the Icelandic process for dismissing an employee anyway. In some countries it's not as easy as You screwed up = you're fired.

I'm not sure it's fair to blame Goons for raging on the forums. When the server that they would be playing games on is running like a '74 Ford Pinto, the speed and low latency of the forum service may be far more welcome.

If I screwed something up this bad at work I'd be fired.

Someone needs to be fired, or at least lose some pay over this.

This wasn't about hardware limitations, we'd had up to 2200 in system and were still fighting just fine.

This was human error. So fix it by removing the human in question.

Seriously, is there just no accountability over there?

You don't get to just derp things when there are major events going on and walk away going "so sorry". It doesn't make people want to play your game.

And dumb stuff like this happens all the time. Accountability. And you have to tell us what you did to fix it.

Stay docked, Stay Safe.

We would have told test that but actualyl it's

Stay logged off. Stay safe.

Remember all those times when CFC dreads were ordered to not log back in?

And then all the TESTies flooded into the forums to demand that the dreads be destroyed and someone at CCP fired? Oh, wait...

You are not a very bright person I take it...

Can you tell me what you do with morons?

Whip them back and forth until they learn? :)

Much better than it would have been if those carriers hadn't been removed from space.

This. A thousand times this. Fire the guy who screwed up, then fix the problem so no one else can screw it up the same way.

Then again, this is CCP, so that just means you'll find a shiny new way to screw it up.

I see. Should have thought of it that way.

Why does this system require typed in system names instead of a physical drop box for what systems are on whichever node you are balancing out?

Because no-one has been told, realised or imagined that coding such a tool for a very limited amount of people to be used in a very rare set of circumstances would be a useful investment of developer time?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I don't think he means "fire someone" as much as he means "make the processes for live improving a node more idiot proof".

Really that's the only way to go forward. Tidi is clearly not completely able to account for all sizes of fleet fights anymore, and if this type of thing is going to need to happen again (I'd wager it will), improve the process for doing it right now before one ****-up turns into 2 or more.

The war in fountain will continue to rage, there's enough time to find TONS of ways to screw up.

The process they have in place is several orders of magnitude better than what used to happen when even 600 people were in one system. We had almost 4 times that number in Z9PP and the node crashed because someone screwed up at CCP. How about a little praise to CCP for this?

Is either really that likely?

Meet the new code, broken in different ways from the old one.

The new launcher has vastly improved my gaming experience.

So did that system remap.

I don't know what everyone's complaining about. I was able to finish my Level 3 Distribution mission in Halaima. I even got the 60,000 ISK bonus.

I for one would like to thank CCP for looking out for our wellbeing. Players had been sitting at their computers all tensed up for 5 hours or more. That's just not healthy. You can get blood clots in your legs and stroke out. CCP cares enough about their customers to force us all to take a much needed break.

Thanks CCP.

This was before you guys decided to try on big girl panties and decided that meant becoming goon pets. It's ok if you don't know what I'm talking about.

keep calm men and lets try keep things civil.

It's better to be a goon "pet" than say a soco "ally", hbc "member".

Even if we are pets, which we aren't because we are not obligated to nor do we owe anything to the CFC, I would not mind at all. You guys have been nothing but bro's to us since we have allied.

Don't the SA forums cultivate good posting behaviors? What in the world is up with you goon duders here. Your posting is awful.
