Thank you. Exactly what I was saying.

It should not depend on clone or anything else.

If you could fly it before, you will fly it after.

No Iffs or excuses accepted.

You have always run the risk of losing access to ships and/or equipment from being podded with an inadequate clone. Nothing in Odyssey changed that. If you could fly it before, you can fly it after referred only to one specific thing, the changing of the skill trees for the ships that were affected, and nothing else.

Well, while OP was foolish enough to get podded in a undersp'ed clone, I don't think anyone has ever lost 45 days of training off of it....Lol

Right, no excuses accepted, so other than calling us idiots, what are you going to do about it, little man? You gonna quit? Stop paying CCP money? If it's not acceptable, what are you going to do? Cause they aren't changing it, no matter how much you act like a moron. So what are you going to do?

And by the way, petitioning it would have gotten you more results than this stupid thread.

And that is exactly the case. Even if you get podded. Even if you lose SP in command ships skill. You can train any skill that is injected, regardless of prerequisites. You are talking absolute nonsense and have NO freaking clue about how this game works. Please provide a screenshot with the errormessage and of your spaceship command skilltree.

Oh, I see. This is a troll pretending to be a rant about a non-existent problem.

CCP - clean up on aisle this thread, please.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

That is not really what I was saying.

What I am saying is that if you are dumb enough to fly around in an out of date clone, KNOWING that you can lose SP, then you don't deserve to fly that ship in the first place.

If I had skills injected without the prereq's met, I would have been EXTRA sensitive to my clone. Since the ramifications of getting pod are magnified.

I was trying to ensure all the posters fully understood your stupidity.

And you have done a great service sir :) .

It's the OPs fault for not understanding how things work now. The FIRST thing I did was update all my toons clones , especially the ones that fly command ships and hacs.

No, it's not. The “if you could fly it before” philosophy applies to the skill switch-over and tiercide prereq reorganisation, and it is working as intended.

You're talking about something completely unrelated: skills lost when podded. Skill points and clones are very much part of that particular equation, as they have always been, and it has nothing to do with the skill reorg/switch-over. If you lose something, you lose it. However, what you're suggesting is still not how the game works.

So please provide a screenshot of the skill page of the CS in question, and a screenshot of the error message when you try to increase your CS skill.

It would require a skill that takes 90 days to train and a clone that's 3 years' worth of SP too small. It certainly didn't happen to the OP, that's for sure. Lol

Look CCP Clone, try that. And when you start losing people as in Inferno with your attempt Number Two, you will change face, name and skills.

This was dirty ****. You think we will follow 45 days of training? FRACK OFF! WE WONT. We quit. So, do it please, not with us. Enough that you dumbed off scanning and dumbed down battleships. Good. Dumb down and force to retrain, frak you.

May be it should not be related at all?

If I lose target painter, I can't use a target painter. If you lose command ship, you can't use a command ship. How surprising...

If you can fly it now you can fly it after only apply to skill changes, not being podded with a not updated clone. This is only the mecanic working exactly as it always have. If you had gotten podded before the patch and lost the exact same SP, you would also not be able to fly it until you re-trained the lost skill. It's not a scam it's working as intended.

With posts like these, I'm beginning to wonder how you manage to even undock...

Skill requirements changing does not change the mechanics of skill point loss due to your own stupidity of being in an outated medclone. Deal with it or stop your mindless trolling.

If you did and succeeded you can fly it forever now... unless you forget to update a medical clone and get podded ofc then you might loose the ability

And I keep thinking Eve general IQ was higher than most games?

Not by your post. You gotta be the millionth person in EVE who has to spell "lose" as "loose". Amazing how 99% of the population can't get that word right...

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...
