Well, I have to say thank you for this. i had to do stuff i couldn't be bothered to do, and now my wife is happy.

Lawn - mowed.

Tonights dinner - prepared

House - vacuumed top to bottom

Kitchen - Tidy.

Now, please get back on, I have ran out of things to clean! Lol

I'm sure these problems have diverted a lot of CCP manpower, will Odyssey be rolled out as planned or are you going to postpone it until everything is running smoothly for a few days?

What ever you guys do with your great work, delay new expansion day or 2 just to make sure all is fine.

And even as this was not problem caused by CCP, players are one´s to suffer, especially those still trying to train f.ex. some last cruisers to lvl 3 before new racial-ships, but now can not fit that last amarr cruiser lvl 3 for last 1 day and 16 hours just in time for expansion...

Think it´s only fair to give free SP´s taking into account all of that, or then some kind of system where all who were training those particular skills to hit objective just before new expansion, get each promotion to next lvl in skill they were training (no idea if this could be arranged thou, just pointing out a problem)....

Don't know why this thread has so much talk about customers, service, compensation, IT competence. etc.

You're not ordinary consumers, you're addicts. Different set of rules.

True satisfaction doesn't come from sweet talk or refunds from CCP starship pushers, only the magic of space travel will satisfy your true needs.

But because I am a reasonable guy ( we all should be ), I don't blame them at all but a compensation is not absurd in these circumstances.


Nobody has a "perfect defense" for anything. There is no computer network anywhere in the world that has a perfect defense, nor a defense that cannot eventually be beaten. For every security expert out there protecting networks form kids with too much time on their hands, there are 100 kids using programs they don't even understand, to initiate and sustain DDoS attacks on their networks.

Once you grasp what exactly a DDoS attack is, then perhaps you will change how you feel about what has been initiated against CCP

Have you read any of the replies to your previous posts?

New launcher does not cause a DDoS attack.

Also, a second site for forums, having them separated: They would need the logins to be sync'ed and having the logins on the new server(for just forums) would ALSO need to be taken down to protect our accounts.

Edit: also, DDoS is not an exploit by CCP, its a general rule of the internet, ANY SYSTEM can be overloaded.

All be forgiven if you make the ore bay on the Hulk larger, or give us rig`s that makes ore bays bigger to hold more ore
