This ^^^^ Works for me.


But the Launcher does not. It loads in English, then when I launch the game it says socket closed.

1. Launcher login still in Russian (I am in Florida)
2. status unknown & server offline
3. clicked connect & got in

I guess 10 years of operations killed the server :/ aye it's backup but this all reminds me of the issues regarding Apocrypha deployment, and the server was down for like 36 hours. Skill queues didnt exist back then and we were never reimbursed for SP...could I have the SP I lost then on top of the free 50K???

Launcher does not show username/password boxes. If I wait long enough this appears.

Manually using eve.exe works, but login is Russian.

Logged in with launcher, got socket closed, dropped to the login screen with 'unknown' server status, hit connect, connected successfully, now in the game.

Unreal, I have to use my phone to access this forum since it loads too slowly on my desktop.

I can bypass the launcher using the bin folder and log in. But since it lags so much, the game times me out (socket closed) kicks me out of Eve when I click a character to login with.

So I can't play Eve...

My launcher is working now, and in English. It never loaded in Russian for me.

The Russian is most likely an effect of some of the rerouting taking place, love it while it lasts. It's nothing to fear about, the cold war is over since many years.

If you have logged in more than once than you should have the common sense to know where to put your log in and pw and what button to push to log in. Big smile

Was able to log on in game, as well as here on forums (obviously) but both the launcher, and the EVE|Gate login screens were in Russian. I'll admit I was a little averse to putting in my login info.

Also, I had to run repair.exe before the launcher would come out of Offline Mode. Funky stuff O_o
