Same problem here, 19:14 server time.

"No connection could be made to the content server. Please make sure that your Internet connection is up and restart the Launcher."

I keep getting the message "Incompatible Protocol" when I launch the game with the Desktop .exe What?. First time in weeks that I would have time to play and now I can't start the game....

My solution: repair ->update->launcher doesn't work->but exefile.exe work

My antivirus found a trojan in eve repair file :

So I have only seen this once but it was a bit ago. Is there any official time frame as to when this will be fixed?

Big smile For Windows 7 users If you cant get on via the launcher, find the CCP folder then Eve Folder finally in the folder named bin you should have a file called Exefile with the Eve 3 stripe logo, double click it and you should launch straight into the usual game login, enter you pw and you should be up and running without going through the launcher!
