Finally got both to load. I closed them out for about 15 minutes then reopened them and it worked perfect.

So I have attempted to log in for the last hour with no success. Tried the bin/Eveexe.exe method, all with no success. Here is what my log-in screen says when I successfully open the launcher:
Now, maybe you can tell me what I need to do now. Oh, is CCP going to compensate all of its players for thier troubles with this. I think they should for all of this leg work for an untested updates and patches. Well CCP you asked what we were seeing when we logged on, and I now present to you........This mess........

I saw his post. I'm now drinking whisky and watching the other forum thread that CCP guard mentioned. I'm hoping to see some sort of update there in an hour or so, even if it's just to say that you love us and are still working on it.

Hi!
I've loaded the patched launcher and both of the pages you asked about opened. The txt page took several minutes to open though. the loader opens and takes my user and password but the "PLAY" button never lights up and does nothing when I click on it. do you have any helpful suggestions?...PLZ! I'm an eve junkie and need my fix!!!

I don't really think the problem is directly caused by the launcher. When I try to log in, I get a exception like this:

When I try to get this file (http://client.eveonline.com/patches/premium_patchinfoTQ_inc.txt) directly with firefox, it takes a long time to connect and download. I suppose the problem comes from the CCP webserver where the necessary files for the launcher are hosted. X The launcher should have a longer time-out delay until it generates the exception...

Any news @CCP?? Question

I still cannot login, just says "Server Status Unknown" I completely uninstalled eve and reinstalled and updated and it still lists it as "unknown"

I included a pic of what I'm seeing.

I'm sure CCP would love to roll back their webservers to a working state. Rolling back the launcher change (what you probably wanted to suggest) wouldn't change a damn thing.

Launcher wont start, gives the no internet bla bla, people have linked a hundred times in this thread, getting the game up and running, status tranq - incompatible ( protocol ).
Where is my game?
Almost 3 years, You dudes up in the cold north usually don't do this EAstyle.
And no, I'm not trying anything, I'm not going to move my **** to high memory because of the 640K limit, I'm not rewriting my .bat anything, this is 2013, not 1996, I pay - You fix.

Haven't been able to use the login on the new launcher yet, due to this. Repair tool doesn't cause a change of any kind.
