I forgot about planets and moons - they could seriously do with higer resolution textures (plus icecaps in the right places).

Any idea of a timescale for this? (the support is obviously here to justify it)

They could increase the resolution in proportion to the ship (object) size, so the level of details increases with the size and thus providing a greater sense of scope.
