When will we get a response on this? Some of us want very badly to see our pretty game in greater detail; make it optional and nobody should complain!

CCP has other priorities and do not consider 200 pages of demands significant enough to warrant such a client side package. Honestly though, I'd much rather enjoy the ability to use my own ship skins as there are many many many good ones out there hahaha. Client side or not, I'd like a gallente faction ship that does not look like artistic crap smearing, or the old looking rhea.

That is certainly the truth, a little disappointed that a whole other game can be developed, but something seemingly as simple as making a texture pack available is too much work. What?

If OP wasn't talking out his ass then putting a zip download of the high res textures up somewhere would be beyond arbitrary.

Why has this not been implemented yet. CCP you must understand that textures being something that is entirely optional will only improve the quality of your already great game. It's free publicity when you have people posting user content that looks as good as your production videos.

My current PC runs eve on max settings at about 160FPS with vsync off, and all my hardware is 2 years old. We want to see this happen CCP, make it rain!! Twisted

My system can barely handle EVE as it is now. My laptop sucks. I'm more of an overview kinda guy anyway.

HOWEVER:

At some point in the future I will get myself a new computer. Besides; I love you guys and totally understand your desire.

yes **** yes so many times over we want this. is it gona happen maybe and iam sure peoplewil not minding mabe eve paying a little to get it :) not crazy amounts like the collectors pack tho so ya can get ****** but. 5-10quid or so or a plex iam sure that will happen

There was a survey about 2-3 weeks ago, made by CCP and CSM.
