Peak concurrent users down 5k from last Sunday. At this rate Eve will be completely dead in less than three months.

CCP should divert all efforts to WIS. Only emotes can save as now.

I've got a better plan: don't allow clients to log out until the next downtime! Call it a bug and make !!headlines!!

CCP uses their own bots (or other client emulators) to keep up the illusion that there are zillions of players, and since huge populations are indicative of great games (wow, amirite?), real players will flock to Eve.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Weather was much better this weekend than last, so I bet many of those were out and enjoying it. Plus, CCP just did another bot ban if I remember reading it right, so yeah, probably explains much of it.

They did that a while ago. Jita local was up over 4,000.

Sadly, they didn't change the server population calculation to simply sum the number of people in Local channels at the same time.

Anarchy Online is not even dead yet. Despite the Market driving a golden stake through Funcoms heart. Decapitating it, burning the remains and spreading the ashes at the crossroads.


As for Eve. It's going to be around for at least 3-4 years after it goes free to play so we have all the time in the world.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Wasn't today mother's day in the UK? I'm not sure if only 5k pilots taking the day off to spend time with their mums is an excellent or pitiful showing but it probably has something to do with the drop this weekend.
