Make EVE free for 10 yr old players

I wouldnt mind if CCP gives 10 year subbers something small, maybe a single month for free or some gimmick, but certainly not a free subscription.

and allow them to pay 15 instead of 20 USD for new account activiations (or 1 PLEX instead of 2)

If the original people who created them still own them, they would have paid roughly $1800 on the game already, which i consider is many times what an individual should have to pay to play a game, even if it is p2p.

Would reward the most dedicated and give others a goal to work towards and play longer for.

If you are a ten year player, you should know how to make your subscription free by now...........what did you do with those ten years? it only took me one on the first character.

A month free when? every other month? every ten years? Please, people, stop being vague in your descriptions and posts. I have seen good ideas get ignored cause they were vague and unbalanced.

Free is out of the question. They, CCP, need to make money. Until there is some decent free2play model of some sort, doubt tha twould ever happen.

However, a minor discount would be nice - or perhaps dual training on one acc. Not hurting anybody actually.
Okay, it has been said in CSMs here and there a few times, would be great to see that frakking Clone costs go down, as old players are getting punished just because they want to fly smaller ships and die in them.


Nonetheless, while it is not really that much of a matter, remember we've been getting FREE ADDONs for some 10 years. Just something to keep in mind.

Using tablet, typoes are common and I'm not going to fix them all.

I think I would support free transfers for 10 year vets over free subs. To ask a portion of the player base to no longer pay for being able to play while those under 10 years still have to doesn't seem like a fair approach, nor a very good business model. However, extenuating fees such as a character transfer would be more palatable.

No it wouldn't.

Consider this: 10 year old accounts get free transfers to/from their accounts. Person with 10 year old account offers a service for 100m ISK to do character transfers - from seller account to them, and from them to buyer. Every 10 year old account holder catches on to this, prices go down and nobody pays for character transfers ever again. The entire revenue stream for CCP goes down the toilet.

How to win at eve: have played for 7+ years and...

a) cloak camp for months on end paying via credit card

b) fly cruisers and below with meta fits you mooch off corpmates


or

c) Sit in jita and troll forum posts all day.


If you don't do at least 1 of the above with your main account after seven years, you've failed.

PS In order to have won eve you must also have a net value of under 100m
