Laudenum slowed her walk, stopped and turned slowly holding up the platter with her breakfast. She turned, the gun's barrel whispering against the silken robe. She stopped her turn when the barrel parted the front of her robe, exposing the shift she wore. Laudenum's eyes locked on the man and a broad smile crossed her face.

"Well, Mr. RSS man," she said "You're not very bright, are you?" She slowly reached across and plucked a piece of fruit from her breakfast plate, chewing as she spoke. "You do realize that the entire bar is under video surveillance, right?" She pushed forward, just a little, into the gun barrel.

"It would be fair for me to mention that my brother is a hulking gorilla and is staying in that room." she motioned with her eyes to a door not far away. "I can tell you that it's very unnerving when he gets angry. I once saw him crush the trachea of a man who was hurting a woman." She reached across and plucked more fruit from the tray. "He can be sort of over protective that way."

"Or," she motioned again with her eyes to the redhead at a different table focused on a datapad "my friend Alice there at the table could be very frightening were she to think that you would do something rash to me. I've fought with her. She'd tear you apart."

Very slowly, Laud set the tray down on the nearby table, keeping both hands in clear view. "I have been beaten, I've been violated, I've even died a couple of times. Hell, I've had menstrual cramps that would make your..." she paused and looked downward to his crotch "fall off. I'm not afraid of your little popgun." Another downward look made it unclear as to whether she was referring to the firearm or not.

Her smile changed from friendly to predatory. "But since you've asked me so nicely, I'll go with you. Quietly. But I'll give you another warning." Her eyes turned very cold, like the depths of space itself. "It would be very, very unlucky for you to be locked in a room,"

"with me," she said.

"Alone."

Matokin said " I had not intention in harming you in any way, if I wanted you killed you would not be seeing me face to face. He added with a carefully optimistic smile "besides its kind of pointless to kill a Capsuleer is it not?

Matokin holstered his pistol...slowly and carefully.

He said quietly As for your threats honey you dont scare me, with one call on my implanted transmitter I could have this place swarming with 100 RSS officers, and I would hazard to guess not all your friends are Capsuleers are they? Matokin said with a sarcastic crooked smile while looking around the bar.

Continuing on Matokin said..."You know something I have dealt and fought with the worst this galaxy has to offer and even tho you my have....better assets" He said while looking Laudenum over head to toe with his eyes "your just another case number on my file."

"Now" Matokin went on shifting his weight to his other leg "since your so willing to cooperate why dont we head to my office so I can ask you some questions about your relationship with Mr. Twinkle, oh and no funny stuff while you were talking to your friend" Matokin motined to the short, skinny Khanid girl that had fleetingly stopped to ask if Laudenum was ok. I implanted a remote tracker on the two of you...just in case he" said with a smile.

Adding "You wouldn't want my associate to visit her now would you if you decided to run, he is Brutor and not so willing to talk as I am, he prefers... other methods to get his information. "

Matokin grabs Laudenum silk robe and pulls it across her "As pretty as you are please do try and cover up from what I have seen this is not some Gallente pleasure hub and I dont want you to draw any unwanted attention to us as we head to my office." Motioning to the door with his hand.

OH and I would consider my self very, very lucky to be locked in a room with you

He was content with not really talking with anyone unless spoken to first and just soaking in the energy of the social environment while he thought to himself about the day and the near future.

But while in one of these half-trances his eyes grow slightly wider with a realization. With a grin sliding on to his face he gets up, Quafe in hand. He walks over to Ish, tapping her on the shoulder trying to hide the grin under a more casual face.

"Hey Ish, I've been meaning to ask you, you wouldn't happen to know anything about the Sani Sabik would you?"

*Ishtanchuk Fazmarai turns around and faces Xercodo*

"The Sani Sabik? What do you want to know about them? Maybe you feel you could be a Savant?", answers Ish, with a bemused grin.

(Sorry for this long delay in response, I just moved and still don't have internet there D:)

"Hehe probably not, not my style. What I do know, however, is that a certain division of them hosted an event called EVE's Next Top Model couple years back I believe.

...That I also happened to participate in."

Before she could ask anything sarcastic he continued.

"And no, I didn't even come close to winning. Like I said, it wasn't quite my style anyway. I'm surprised I even made it past the qualifiers to the main event...

Point being, it was quite the experience and the usual events of this bar have reminded me of it a little. I was curious if you had ever had made and acquaintance with any of the Sani Sabik. They have a certain, expertise, when it comes to creating entertaining social venues.

If you don't have any already this place might stand to gain a bit from a little Sani Sabik style thrown into it."

"Well then," Laud began, "since we're all being nice and friendly like, and heaven's forbid I draw unwanted attention," she turned back to her room "you wont mind if I put on some real clothes."

The RSS man moved to intercept. "No you dont, you're coming with me now!"

Laud spun and put her nose mere centimeters from Matokin's face. "Mr. RSS man, I am not afraid of you either. I am not afraid of your 100 RSS flunkies and I sure as hell am not afraid of your Brutor thug. If you're really into the intimidation thing, you picked the wrong girl." She peeled off the robe and tossed it onto the table and she continued backing to her room. "In order for intimidation to work," she said, reaching down to the hem of the shift and in one graceful movement, sliding it over her head and exposing her nakedness to the bar, "you have to threaten someone who cares."

Matokin rushed in and in a fluid move pulled the pistol from his holster.

Laud rushed to him as well, cutting the distance quickly. As the RSS man hoisted the gun, Laud grabbed the barrel and put it along side her temple.

"DO IT!" she screamed. "DO IT! You ball-less F**K!!"

The man hesitated and Laudenum pounced on the opportunity.

"NOW, do you get it? I don't f**king care!! Had you been polite, I would have been polite. I would have answered your damned questions. I LOVE talking about myself!!" She held the barrel of the pistol tight to her temple and screamed.

"Now, let me get some clothes on or f**king shoot me here!"

*Cathy stirred on the floor all this shouting was giving her a headache she moved her arms in an attempt to rise but then thought better of it, she was just to drunk to stand. While moving her hands however her hands found the cold neck of a bottle Rum she felt another smile creep across her face. Then she grimaced there was that shouting noise again she glanced up and then to the side, there was some confrontation between a man and a lovely young woman going on and they where only about ten foot away. Cathy smiled and them proceeded to roll top speed across the floor and into the man's legs knocking him over, climbing swiftly on top of the man she razed the bottle into the air, undid the cap and poured the liquid down his throat*

"Enjoy rum is good for everyone"

*She then crawled under the nearest table and sank into a bundle on the floor*

Matokin stared at Laud's fiery eyes for a few seconds then wrenched the pistol from her vice like grip and in a swift almost seamless motion ejected the cartage and placed the pistol its self back in his holster.

"You may go get dressed" Matokin said as he clicked the latch closed on his pistol holster

Matokin then handed the cartage to Laud saying "it may not be a branch but I think you get my point"

Laud tossed it around in her hands noticing it felt to light then she looked into it "its empty" she said with a puzzled tone.

"Exactly" replied Matokin "Now, if I meant you any harm or wanted to kill you wouldn't you expect that to be loaded. I respect a strong women" he continued.

Laud then backed into her room and slammed the sliding room door closed so hard as to just about remove it from its mounting while cursing under her breath.

Matokin then leaned back against the wall across from Laud's door with his arms folded. "now no funny stuff, remember" he exclaimed.

"I wont !" Laud roared back, "you made that quite clear by needlessly treating my friends with your Brutor thug, which by the way was completely uncalled for...NOBODY and I mean NOBODY goes near my friends to get to me GOT IT?"

Matokin staying silent for a few minutes finally said "I should not r tell you this but I can see its the only way to get your complete cooperation...."

Just then the door opened at the far end of the hall due to the darkness in the hall and the bright lights behind the figure Matokin couldn't identify who it was...but the badge on the pressed shirt was quite clear and glinting gold in the dim light, it was a a CONCORD agent.

"Tell her what exactly Mr. Lemant" a female voice said, cutting the dim light of the hall way like a knife.

"Uhh...nothing...I was gong tell her nothing." was all that Matokin could manage to stammer as the female CONCORD agent, calmly and confidently walked towards him.

"That's not what I herd" she said stopping mid way down the hall..."you were going to tell her about the mission went you" she asked?

"No but you just did" Matokin said with a cocky smile.

Just at that moment Laud emerged from her room, looked curiously at the CONCORD agent then shot a menacing look at Matokin "What's going on here she asked?"

“Oh gods,” she thought, “what is going on?”

She thought he’d pull the trigger, but the beast of her emotions wouldn't allow her to stop. When she had slammed the door to her room, she collapsed on the bed, shaking violently. “Adrenaline, no Noradrenalin. Damn, I always confuse the two.” She huddled drawing several deep breaths to calm herself.

"Now, no funny stuff, remember?” came from the RSS man in the corridor.

“I won’t!” Laud roared back. “You made that quite clear by needlessly threatening my friends with your Brutor thug, which, by the way, was completely uncalled for!” The shaking had stopped; she could feel her blood start to sing again. “Talking…” Laud thought, “Keep talking. “

“NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY goes near my friends to get to me, GOT IT?” The last word shouted as she felt her convulsing body start coming back under her control. She started pulling on socks, and then her long familiar cargo pocketed work pants. She sat down to pull on her work boots and became consciously aware of the ache in her breasts. She shuddered, mildly sickened with the idea that she had become aroused in the cocktail of hormones she had experienced. She covered her face with her hands and nearly wept. Reaching blindly, she found her brassier and pulled it into place, over the top, she pulled over her white shirt and vest.

The man was mumbling something but she paid no heed. Her mind was reeling. She was losing control. She had felt the first tugs of this when she was last podded and recloned. It had taken a very long time for her to transition. Was there madness inside her? Was she mad?

That thought ended when the clear female voice cut through the hallway outside her door. It was a voice of absolute authority. She quickly tied her boots and leapt to the door.

“What’s going on here?” she asked, tossing the empty clip back to the RSS man. “Oh, and by the way, you have one full clip in your back pocket and one more strapped to your right ankle, but I appreciate the gesture.”

She turned, her typical broad smile on her face. “Well, Ms. Concord, what is it that I can do for you?”

She turned, her typical broad smile on her face. “Well, Ms. Concord, what is it that I can do for you?”

The Concord agent looked around the bar with a slight chuckle in her other wise authoritative voice she said “You can all put your guns, swords and other various weapons away; I am not here to arrest anyone or cause any trouble”

Turing on her heal she looked at Matokin, saying “I told you that you were to bring her to MY office so that we can discuses acquiring her *shooting a glance at Laud* services for the operation, and here I walked in on the two of you about to rip each other a new one. I know that the RSS are used to operating by their own rules Mr. Lemant but you forget who is in charge of this operation. “

“I am standing right here” Laud said “What is this mission and operation you keep going on about, Listen lady if you want to ask me something do so.”

The agent shot Laud looks that in many ways said don’t push me...but in some weird way also one of sympathy.

Finally Speaking Matokin said “I guess I might as well tell you what all this is about, the whole thing about bringing you in for questioning in regards to Mr. Twinkle was simply a cover story. “ The CONCORD agent shot him a look of disapproval but he continued “The truth of the matter is I am on special assignment form the RSS who is working closely with *shooting a look back in the direction of the agent* CONCORD to investigate a possible slave trading ring operating out of this station. Based on your profile, and what I have seen you can handle yourself in a fight. You would be perfect for...”

The CONCORD agent cut in “We understand they are looking for mercenary pilots to escort the slave ships through the unpatrolled space along the Amarr-Minmatar border zone...we would like you to pose as a mercenary for hire and Infiltrate the ring. Once you reach the drop point signal the RSS and there fleet will move in to take them down”

“Right” Matokin said “It was my job to bring you to the local CONCORD office so this could be explained to you in private...but you turned out to be even more feisty then your profile suggested” he said with a slight chuckle. “Oh and you also know our procedures to well” he added pulling the full clip from his back pocket and loading it into his pistol. "And Also we will provide you with a state of the art fully equipped Stabber..So you won’t even be using your own ship should you accept this mission."

The CONCORD agent noticed that Laud was still trembling slightly and added with a look and tone of concern “Miss Hayes are you going to be ok?...Please don’t feel obligated to do this, it’s completely voluntary.

“Since when?” Matokin piped up

“Since I just said so” the CONCORD agent said in a rather snappy tone. She then continued saying "Are you blind or something she" *motioning with her head in Laud’s direction* "is obviously upset or something...your brutish tactics probably shook her up or something, I knew I should have came instead of you.”

“Well are you up for it then?” Matokin asked “And I am sorry if I upset you” he added sheepishly

Laudenum looks back and forth between the RSS man, the Concord officer and Ish. Her eyes roll when they begin speaking ‘in tongues’ and she simply stands with hands on hips. When the conversation between the three conclude, Laud stands and waits, her gaze going back and forth between the three.

“Yea, ok. I’m in.” she said simply.

The three begin to turn and she clears her throat quite loudly.

“Um…before we begin, I’ll be inspecting the Slasher personally.” The Concord officer cocked an eyebrow. “Since our esteemed RSS man was so kind as to begin negotiations harshly, I’m not exactly confident that an ‘accident’ wouldn’t occur while I’m out there.”

The Concord officer looks over to Agent Lemant. He responds with a shrug and says, “Look Ms. Hayes, we got off on the wrong foot…”

“No agent, “Laudenum quickly counters, “YOU got off on the wrong foot. I’m all for helping out and all but you didn’t exactly instill me full of confidence.” She steps up to face Agent Lemant and says, “Then we will need to discuss remuneration.” She glances over to the Concord officer, “I wouldn’t mind a little something to compensate for my time and wellbeing.”

The Concord officer rubs her forehead. Maybe, she thinks, this one isn’t worth the effort. “We can discuss this in my office, if you don’t mind.” She says as the officer gestures to the front door.

“Very well, ma’am,” Laudenum offers a mock salute, “I’m your girl.” The officer turns and begins walking to the door, side stepping around a particularly large and well-built patron.

Laudenum steps close to Agent Lemant. “And RSS man,” she said with a honey dripped tone, “I want you to know that I was serious,” she paused for effect.

“Very serious. Do not ever threaten my friends or family to get to me.” She smiled broadly. She stepped around the agent and said, “Right big brother?”

Agent Lament turned quickly to face the chest of Random. Laudenum stopped and placed a quick peck on his cheek and walked on past.

The look on Random’s face told Agent Lemant that he was not afraid of the RSS man either.

lailyana looks at the scene perplexed and doesnt understand what is going on.

"can someone please explain to me what is going on here, and you have a brother?"

Lailyana leans foward in her chair.

"All I know is I walked into what some would consider the KO corral or howerver it was called, is this a bad time?"

"Here's to the crazy ones. The Misfits, The rebels. The Troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes.

The Agent looked at Ishtanchuk then started speaking again gone was the poor amarran language and accent she instead spoke in English with a moderate Deteisan accent "I am aware that the Khanid Kingdom Nobles are not used to that CONCORD interference. And I am sorry for over stepping the boundaries with regard to that. However I had no choice in this case as I could here the commotion from my office clear on the other side of the promenade, and I had to intervene to stop" *motioning toward Matokin and Laud* "these two from killing each other. Further more there is no problem with Mr. Twinkle it was just a cover story used to get miss Laude to come to my office."

Handing Ishtanchuk a data pad she added "I am sorry that I disrupted your establishment and CONCORD will be happy to pay for any lost revenue. "

With that the CONCORD agent turned back to Laude and said "Now, if miss Hayes obliges, I will return to my official mission here and we will not bother you any more..."

Laudenum looks back and forth between the RSS man, the Concord officer and Ish. Her eyes roll when they begin speaking ‘in tongues’ and she simply stands with hands on hips. When the conversation between the three conclude, Laud stands and waits, her gaze going back and forth between the three.

As he three walk out of the bar and unto the promenade and out of sight of the bar after a few aqward minutes of silence Matokin finally spoke up and said “You know” he started “I have no problem with you inspecting the ship once we arrive at the docking bays. A captain has the right to inspect his/her ship.”

Before Matokin Laud could even reply she suddenly felt a sharp prick on the back of neck. She spun around just in time to see the CONCORD agent holding up a rather odd looking pistol which she instantly recognized as the standard neural disruptor chip gun (ND-CG) cared by all CONCORD agents.

“You...you” was all Laud could manage to say as she felt herself go numb and everything go black.
The CONCORD agent then quickly turned to Matokin stating “I am not taking any chances with this one; even tho she may seem corporative her phy profile clearly states she is unstable at best, pick her up and let’s go”

“Just one thing first” Matokin said, as he bent down beside the now neutralized Laud “I am disarming her before she comes to” He then proceed to remove all weapons from Laud before picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder and covering her with a robe as not to draw any attention to him slef. “Now I see why I was brought along’ he muttered to him slef...”to do all the heavy lifting”

They continued down the promenade until they got to the closest elevator...”We are going straight to the docking bay” The CONCORD agent said turning to face Matokin “OK” he said stepping onto the elevator. In the elevator the agent turned to Matokin and said “You know what to do with her once we get to the ship.” The tone in her voice had changed from one of authority to one of a more menacing demeanour.

Arriving at the docking bays they hurried along to bay 34-C were through the glass sat a Scorpion class battle ship, which gleamed under the lights of the docking bay. “We are ready to depart when you are mam a voice chirped over the coms.” “Good as soon as we are on board clear all docking clamps and get us out of here.” Replied the CONCORD agent talking into her shirt collar.

Soon as the three boarded the ship the CONCORD agent went left and headed for the bridge while Matokin went left to the cargo bay sector of the ship. “Be sure you secure her in the holding cell” the agent called back without turning around. “Ya I know” replied Matokin.

Matokin tossed Laud into the holding cell securing the door “Not so tough now are you" he said Talking out loud as if she could actually here him, Then proceeded to head to the bridge.
