I'd like to see a new Ishukone or Hyasyoda contact for the 'liberal' Caldari bloc. Not sure if it's doable, but there are a lot of folks who aren't fans of Heth, and Ishukone has been a fairly important part of two major EVE novels.

Missing a Thukker, potentially a SOCT or even a lowsec Intaki representant. Very nice idea and list there otherwise.

How exactly are we supposed to contact these when something comes up? Via conversations, evemail or what?

Hey guys.

Obviously, it would be sweet if we could get contacts for every possible faction and sub-faction and even corporation in the game. However, there are limits to what we can reasonably maintain at this time. Assuming all goes well with these guys, we'll probably become more varied with the contacts. But there are a LOT of subfactions to create contacts for (the Amarr Houses, various Gallente blocs, the Tribes, etc), so we started with a focused group concentrated in the Navies, Pirate Factions, and some other groups we might have plans for.

As for how to contact them, EVE Mail is the best bet as they mostly won't be hanging around online for extended stretches except in rare cases, while we will be checking their mail regularly.

For reference, I'll be fully intending to check the mail on all these characters every morning.

This has already happened today Smile

Interesting.

So, I would be able to ask these persons to comment on something, and then say "Gutter Press contacted a representative of... but they declined to comment".

Rogue drones is rather difficult seeing most of them don't seem to be all that interested in us or have a language that incomprehensible to us. There may be some exceptions but those mostly want to 'study' us by taking us apart as opposed to talk.

As for the Jove. The Jove have severed any and all contact a long time ago. They no longer wanted any of the other Empires meddling in their affairs. And I don't think they're much inclined to come out of hiding, assuming any of them are still alive.

In this dark void we are like brilliant stars, holding within us both the creative and destructive power to bring a new dawn upon worlds or plunge them into eternal darkness.

Pretty much this Smile

Although, it's quite possible that in future more contacts will be added. I'm exploring the possibility of doing so :)

Truly null sec people have more in common with the rouge drones than they know.

Rouge drones blow things up because they can and want to.

Null secers blow thing up because they can and want to.

I would think there goals being the same would make them best friends.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Okay, so we also now have contacts for the four militias, these have been added and should prove to be interesting Blink

We also have secondary contacts for each of the four main powers. So now we have a military contact, and a government intelligence contact for each of the four core factions.

These have all been updated. Big smile

To be fair to the CCP team, the State has 3 POCs, two of which are not Protectorate. It would be relatively straightforward for the community to add some character to these POCs... Twisted

Totally made up stuff:

Quote:
Sami Okuuda - currently of CEP, climbed the Hyasyoda corporate governance ladder before entering the business of intercorporate governance.

Odo Hakaalen - currently of the CN, previously of NoH's Internal Security, his move to the CN's capsuleer interface role is shrouded in mystery.

Okui Sakinamo - currently of the SP, commanded space forces in the Wirykomi Peace Corps prior to being part of the initial SP command staff

This would take care of the Liberal/Practical/Patriot angle...

I think there was somewhere Ishukone representative, who appeared back in Arek'Jaalan days and tried to convince 'good Caldari folk' to hunt down runaway scientist Big smile

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.
