CCP Eterne Deals Blow to New Order Resistance

First of all, a great thanks on the behalf of the agents of the New Order, to CCP Eterne for finally delivering the official rebel-spirit-crushing quote we have asked for! I'm sure the unfortunate GM's who have been contending with the inundation of pointless petitions are thankful as well.

Not only have you made both TNO Agents and Game Masters' jobs easier, but you've done a great service to the poor miners, whose false hope that superman would be here shortly to save them was stifling their growth as players. Now, with a CCP Developer affirming the legitimacy of bumping, the miners can abandon their wishful thinking, and finally accept and deal with the situation in which they find themselves.

I believe that when delusion is cast aside, the entire EVE community benefits, so you CCP Eterne, deserve a raise. Keep up the good work.

If you're a miner whose just had the last remnants of your rebel-spirit crushed like so many space-ants, you can purchase a 365 day mining permit from me directly, just send 10 mil with "mining permit" in the reason line. See www.MinerBumping.com for details.

Hail the New Order!
Hail the Savior of Highsec!
Hail CCP Eterne!

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

We know CCP won't do anything about it, silly extortionist~

Perhaps you should read our call-to-arms in the Manifesto on how we will deal with this Smile

This is new and insightful. You may freely come and bump my vessel now and I will offer no complaints.

Any locator agent should be be able to provide you with my current whereabouts. See you in the belts!

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

I approve of bumping, and now its CCP approved too. Let the tears flow freely!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

You should put a siege mod on your Veldnaught if you haven't already. Laugh at everyone who tries to bump you.

So, I just spoke to the GM Team regarding this to get some clarification:

Firstly, people who are bumped always have the right to petition. It is the right of any player who feels that they want to petition an issue to do so.

However, with regards to the rules in EVE Online our current view is:

  • Bumping is not considered harassment.
  • Bumping is not considered griefing.
  • Bumping is not against the rules.

It's actually been used for a long time to prevent warping as a rudimentary form of tackling when you don't have a point, or don't have sufficient disruption strength to keep someone pinned.

Along with that, the people that are doing this for the best part are in player corporations. If you don't like what they're doing, declare war on them so that you can punish them, or pay a merc corp to do so on your behalf if you don't want to fight.

There are plenty of options to counter this, if you use your imagination. Smile

I hate how many bumping threads we get on this forum. Literally no one in game has ever heard of you people. No one cares about your not so new world order rubbish. We don't want to hear what you want us to hear about it, because no one cares.

Please, find something interesting to talk about. For the sake of all our sanity.

If I have to read one more thread about BUMPING, I am going to lose what little I have left of my sanity.

Edit: The absurdity of it, boggles the mind. Bumping! Seriously!? What is wrong with you people. Get a hobby for gods sake. And you people are complaining that others have too much time on their hands!

Nobody's forcing you to read these threads is the point.

You have only three mining lasers, why do you need the autotargeter? :P

You just quoted a line of my saying that my logic failed when I decided to read a thread I didn't want to read, and then proceeded to use it as evidence of what I just said. I fail to see why you bothered to post at all.

I have to give the Proveldtariat one thing, and one thing only.

Their website is legitimately hilarious.

I do think that they need to use a different fontsize for the title though, because at the moment it comes across as two words for me.

It's good to see CCP are showing some resolve against the miners and carebears who have been bullying them for so long. I am pleased by their recent display of independence. CCP shall no longer succumb to the empty threats of miners. They don't need your subs anymore, they have Dust514 and they are free of your whining.
