We have a pretty stellar newbie program, but you would have to vastly improve your posting ability to be considered.

Just an FYI, much as the 'leadership' of Goonswarm&Co 'officially' frown on any recruitment scamming, it does happen a lot.

NO! REALLY?!? THIS IS SHOCKING NEWS!

If I had a list of corps I would consider worth joining, While also not being on the list Goonswarm would not even be in the waiting line to get on the list.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

That makes me a little bit happy I guess, just frustrating being put into the same group as them since I dwell in a NPC corp because I can't find a group of people who are of like mind.

Genuine advice here:

1) Null Sec players don't hate anyone who plays in Empire. We think Empire offers too much reward and not enough risk and generally we believe risk needs to increase or reward needs to decrease.
2) Null Sec players DO hate whiny High Sec players who moan that they can't do the equivalent of walking through the rough neighbourhood carrying £10,000 in cash sticking out of their pocket and not get mugged. Then they feel the need to say how Null Sec is too safe and should be more dangerous etc.

I know nothing about you, but I do feel sorry if you get lumped in with number 2 when you're not like that, I wouldn't want to be lumped in with them.

In terms of your PvP experience and finding a corp etc: You'll struggle to really learn PvP in an NPC corp, and the easiest way to find a corp you like a lot is to join a corp you're OK with. It's like having a job, if you join a PvP corp you'll meet other corps, you might prefer one of them and eventually switch but you'll find it hard to just waltz up to a corp and know if you'll like it there or not.

On the note of corps for PvP... well if you don't mind being thrown in the deep end MSCS is a good PvE/FW corp. It's a good group of people more then willing to help out on those new to PvP. But a word of warning that UK have recently got caught in a mutual wardec with the decshield alliance&friends, at war with over half a dozen corps at last count and still climbing so a bit of a baptism of fire.

Why bother? You guys make any point I'd try to make better yourselves then I ever could with most of your posts.

Having a problem with the whiny carebares who don't even want to look at another player's ship. Fine.

Just don't treat everyone like that eh?

Trust me, we alllll get you're the biggest alliance group around, and frankly? Most of us simply couldn't give a flying ****.

We shoot blues all the time.

This is something which everyone should be well aware of.

Sometimes blues shoot us too, which is frankly surprising. Newbies, make sure to fix your overview please. Two days ago someone nearly got popped on a blue gate because someone tackled him without realizing he was -0.5 and not an enemy.

Nearly because he had half the fleet locking him, and was scrammed, webbed and target painted up.

Cool story brah! Too bad you lost your backbones eh? If it was such "good times" why not continue the wars instead of harassing high sec players like you do nowadays? Is it really about ISK and the 'lols' or are you really just bored with how wars are done? If it is boring now why take it out on High Sec players? If it is not boring why not fight some wars?

I just don't understand you nulls...

Crushing NC.Dot as you flail on the forums.

The reason why we go for you lot in high sec is because you provide so much easy isk. We feast upon the stupidity of empire dwellers and boy have we grown fat. Bad miners and terrible freighter pilots have funded an entire capital fleet for us and made all of our members disgustingly rich over the last year.

You are funding a war right now and we thank you for that.

Please don't say "you lot" like all of us fly stupid, I have only lost ships through trying to learn pvp ~which I failed at so I stay away from it~. I for one never fly anything more then I can afford to lose, I never autopilot , I don't buy faction mods and such when T2 does the job and I find mining boring myself yet you still treat us all the same.

If you can't swim you stay the frig away from the water. That apply's in eve as "If you suck at PvP for what ever reason don't waste your isk on it"

You say "Thank you" for funding your war yet you still treat them/us worse ~verbally~ then a mosquito in summer.

'So you're ranting about how a goon generalises high sec people as one entity while at the same time saying : '' I just don't understand you nulls '' as if i as a null dweller am giving high sec the same treatment the goonie is glorifying.

Hypocrit much ?

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

@ Ritsum, you're actually the very type who goonswarm/etc are NOT against. You play the game, as in actually PLAY the damned game not log in and do something else while gumming on a roid.

Wait... wait....

What's wrong with that?

What is wrong with someone paying their $15 a month.. or letting someone else pay the $15 for them in PLEX.. then mining some rocks while watching sports or what-not, and chatting on teamspeak with some in-game friends that are chewing rocks next to them?

If they quit the game, how is EVE improved for anyone?

Someone who single-handedly took 2/3rd's of the map talking tough to a Barbie playing Caldari State player much? That's stupid.
