They're all right for a start (so far, until they redo the Drake to change it from a great pve ship thats good in blobs to an ok pve boat thats fantastic in blobs), like has been said the shield tanking makes cross training into winmatar boats not overly taxing and eventually you'll want to cross train to everything anyway

My guess is you are tying to do something that caldari ships are very good in. What you should do is do what fits to the ship strentghs. For exams the cerb is a long range ship that would work best with logi. Not every ship is a solo ship.

I agree, the falcon and all caldari ewar ships sucks.

I even have to put ec-300's in my falcon's drone bay just to be sure.....

Oh come on now, we all know EC-300's are where its at. Smile I was going to joke about how Hornet II's have been the workhorse drones in 0.0 for years but then I remembered the EC-300....


And actually those caldari drones (light) against frigs are pretty awesome because: awesome speed, tracking, range dmg application (a lot of winmatar ships are weak to kinetic)


EWAR drones are nice, and every large ship should have a flight.

but there are literally no other good caldari drones. there are only 2 good options for damage drones in each size class - minmatar (PvP) and gallente (PvE).

Like always it boils down to skills+ship+equipment+what your fighting = success in most cases.

Do you like to stand off and attack?

Do you like to get in close?

Do you like to be sneaky?

Do you like to EW them and nickle and dime them to death make them mad?

Review all the races and how they fight and then determine which race is best for you.
All races get nurfed and crap.
I call it flavor of the week. Since training takes forever your race can get nurfed hard, then when you keep training and got skills up and now you race is OP.

Open a 2nd account and train a different race.

Obviously you've never had a rack of medium blasters rammed up the wazooey? Just 'cause not everybody conforms to the whinematar/calamari doctrine doesn't mean those people don't PVP.

To be fair, the Incursus is an absolute beast now, and isn't the point of EVE that no one ship is best in every situation, ie. A Brutix will murderify a Drake if gets in close, but at range its the other way around.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.
