Please add drone bay window access in a seperate window back to the ship right click options when in station. Other ship bays would be a plus as well. Lol

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

My biggest gripe remaining is the window hijacking behavior of the new UI. This has also been my biggest gripe since the beginning. The only reason a window should ever change views, is if I open the tree and make it change inside that window. Trying to open anything else, with any method, for any reason, should open a new window by default. Bringing back open with double click should fix this, and fix Looting which has become fubard. My multiple open windows is my work on my desk. Your UI constantly tries to shove my work off of my desk. STOP IT!

Aside from that I want my right click menus back. do these and I will shut up and be happy.

PS: oh yeah, and neocom buttons, and close "gone" containers instead of reverting to cargo hold view...

The windows affecting looting will not be fixed. Large scale looting is a high sec mission activity. This is a perfect opportunity for the null sec devs to screw high sec again.

From the info i got from fan fest you the DEVS seem to be doing things completely backwards .

Yes the new inventory looks nice and works well for solo players or corps living out of stations . Unfortunately it seems like this is a release not intended for the changes that have already been made . In one of the fan fest keynotes there was mention of a new pos system . Although there was not much mentioned about it ,ye did say that they we would be able to dock in them . If that was the case then the unified inventory would not be as much of a problem child as it is .

Those who live out of a POS have nothing but headaches trying to use it . So here is a few of questions for you DEVS .

Why release a patch that is way to far ahead of what needs to be released for it to work ?

Why was it forced not made optional ?
( remember the last time you don this . Jita uprising may happen again with another emergency CSM meeting )

Why release it when the community said NO ?

The old inventory was fine and worked well expecially with ships that had multiple holds . Why fix what was never broken in the first place .?

seriously CCP . We have asked all these questions again and again , and again . We dont want a fancy 20 paragraph explanation , with words most of us dont understand . We are a simple people and want simple answers so we can go back to flying our ships , and mindlessly killing each other .

Would love to, except for 2 reasons:

1. RL has cut my gaming time to virtually zilch on weekdays.
2. I am so angry with CCP over ALL the changes they have made in the past months that I have lapsed all but one of my accounts. (last plex for the second-last account died on Friday night), that I have no real wish to do ANY work on CCP's behalf, even if it directly benefits me.

Its not nice for people who live out of stations either. Its more work / time / clicks / attention. When i look at the contents of somewhere i used to know exactly what i was looking at and where it was, now i have to ******* work out what im looking at before i do anything. And then double check.

This whole thing needs aborting. Now. You got it wrong, perhaps you arnt gonna have to sack 25% of your staff this time, but keep employing people who make design decisions that negatively effect peoples basic interactions with the game and im sure you will lose more than 25% soon enough.

Even if it wasnt still broken, it would still be **** compared to having separate windows and persistent locations that stack for each category of container eg;

Cargo Holds
Drone Bays
Fuel Bays
Hanger Arrays
Station Containers
Wrecks
Cans

Further attempts to lever a single window filesystem that represents more work to accomplish the simplest of tasks will be met with 'operation get myself banned from game due to helplessly posting pure and unnecessary levels of hatred'.

Heres a video i made last major patch, it was not scripted and just ran into the pathetic workings of the UI as i found them after patching the client.

this also add the ore and fuel bays for the Orca and Rorq

Why a switch on/off? Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying. In other words, it's worse than bad: it's useless. Simple as that. - Kina Ayami

Well, I dragged all from a wreck to my cargo hold, and the window dissapeard. This is a welcome change. I hope its everywhere else too. I have not been giving the UI a chance to disappoint me, and have been proactively closing windows. I shall have to see... However the wrecks still hijack my cargo hold unless I hit shift while clicking...

Edit: Nope, my pos large assembly array hangers reverted to a cargo hold view just now as I warped away. I am not sure if normal corporate hangers behave the same way, but I am willing to bet they do. I hope this gets fixed.

Edit: My Orca hangar bays are also still reverting to a cargo hold view when the orca warps away from me.

Sorry to disapoint you: it seems they do care (in theyr own way anyway). Try new build on test server, then talk :-)

CCP really please dont use Upgraded, Limited, Experimental and Prototype in item names. It sounds like the item is actually worse than basic meta 1 item. Use Calibrated, Enhanced, Optimized and Upgraded. Its really easy to understand that the item is better than meta 1 and its also in alphabetic order.

I think I should start counting how many times I hear on comms how much someone hates "Unified Inventory"

Comments range from

"F**k this Unified Inventory!!!"

to

"I would play with you, but I can't be bothered to keep messing with inventory"

to

"I'm on my way to help you, if I could just figure out this unified inventory... I'll be right there...just one more minute...."

For the love of god CCP, go back to the way it was...

CCP I think that the unified inventory is great, an obvious step in the right direction for the UI, and anyone complaining at this point wouldn't be happy no matter what you did or is crying cause their botting program isn't working....

Please keep up the excellent work on FIS!!!!! Respectfully, Dorn

Oh dear gods... we are in the relative [1 of about 10+ feedbackissues forums where they are LOOKING for issues, feeback, and (heavens forbid) "complaints"....?]

I know I have been following since the Infernal (tm) release and I've kept close tabs on not just mine, jbut also my alliance's outsourced contracting miners feedback [plus additional 0.0 and low sec contractual miners....] who acutally left the game within the past 2-3 weeks... and sadly they played longer than I ever have. That should say something to someone......?

Making physical decision(s) like that and selling accounts etc.... kinda strikes one's self, so don't you dare suggest ANYONE taking the time to leave feeback ("complainging...?) is assumably a bot.

[palm to face] Wow, there really is more than one of you out there.

Oh, so they rolled it back like the majority requested? Why do I find this highly unlikely?

Oh, look. The changelog says that they didn't change much of anything at all. There's still no option to make all windows even MIMIC the good UI's method of interaction, they didn't roll it back, etc. In fact, the only changes that they made were to make a few things persist. Well, good for them that they made a feature work as any reasonable human being would expect. Now, if only they had a QA team and did playtesting so they didn't have to spend a ******* month figuring out that their implementation is broken as hell. Oh, and it's still unusable just because someone got it into their heads that one window solves everything. If that were the case, I'd be using Windows 3.1.

So no, they don't care. All they're concerned about is pushing some guy's pet project, icebergs be damned. They had weeks of playtesting feedback on SiSi in order to figure this **** out.
