But when I go to either EveHQ or Evemon the points are still generating. Has anyone else experienced this? Did I miss a notice of something I should have done lately? It seems to have started when the new software upgrades were implemented about 2 weeks ago.

third party apps like evemon can only base their info on what they received in their last api dump, which for evemon is once an hour i think. as they rely on the api if for some reason they haven't been able to connect to the api server then they will continue to base their info on the last good dump they received. so it sounds like your last successful api dump was 2 weeks ago when you were still training something.

if your skills are not training in eve then they are not training period, the second you notice nothing training you should be putting something in to training even if you wont need it for a while.

Have you been training single long skill? Skillpoint amount shown ingame only updates when you either finish skill or change skill queue. You can also just pause & restart skillqueue to force immediate update on your shown skillpoint amount.

In contrary EVEmon calculates your skillpoint amount constantly while training long skill.

Also make sure that you actually have something in skill queue, and that skill training is not paused.
