I read in one post, the disappearance of the EOS of the battlefield. Perhaps this is because the bonus is poorly chosen,
The characteristic of the Gallente is to deal damage.
That is why I have chosen a number of new gang modules

First a new skill
The information warfare still remain but it will be common to the four races

The new skill will be weapon warfare: add 1% damage to weapon
And weapon warfare specialist
New gang assist modules
Target tracing: its work at tracking link to all gangs’ members (at max skill)
11, 25% to optimal
22, 5 % to Falloff
22, 5 % to weapons tracking

Recognition of targets: its works as target painting all enemies (but only the weapon side effect the lock time remained the same) / (at max skill)

- 37,5% reduction to the weapon Signature Resolution

Target Acquisition: the old sensor integrity (because if you cant lock you cant do damage at all)

The information warfare

Well, I always seemed strange that the Gallenteans, influenced the modules typical of other races.
That's why I suggest the creation of 4 new modules

Information warfare link - Galentean EW
Information warfare link – Caldari EW
Information warfare link – Amarr EW
Information warfare link - Minmatar EW

This modules increases the range and boosts the strength of Racial EW module

And I suggest adding the 3% effectiveness to the racial warfare link module to the other command ships

ccp does not listen to you, go home

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?

Full firepower? Sounds like he means the Astarte ?

Edit: I agree the Gallente ganglinks are kind of lame.. except maybe the ewar strength (electronic superiority) boost can be okay.

I think he is talking more about information warfare gang bonuses in general. They suck atm.

No Caldari are the main shield tanking race, of course they are going to have the shield links.....

The information makes sence for Gal since they have the sensor damps, anti-ecm (since caldari is their main foe) and long range locking for arazu e.t.c. but unfortunatly they are the weakest of the 4 command ship links and could use a boost.

-The sword is only as sharp as the one who wields it! Other names: Drenzul (WoT, WoW, Lineage 2, WarH, BloodBowl, BSG, SC2 and lots more)

They aren't going to give the Eos another damage bonus. Its a fleet command ship. That is why they nerfed its drone bandwidth in the first place.

If you want to see the Eos again you need to look at the links. People don't use information warfare links.

They need to increase the sensor strength bonus applied by the Sensor Integrity link, and combine the range and strength bonuses for ewar modules, and then add a third module that adds bonuses to sensor upgrade modules or something. If there's a bonus to senor boosters I can assure you there would be tons of information warfare boosters out there. Sadly, I don't think the Eos will be used more often, unless they make the T3 boosters less mobile and equally/or less effective as boosters.

Wow a post that wants to buff the EOS in a way that doesn't turn it into a Battlecruiser sized Ishtar.

Looks like someone finally noticed the little fleet next to it's name instead of field.

Eos really need 125 drone bandwidth. It was nerfed for reasons unrelated to it's PvP fleet role.

Picture a true fleet in EVE. 250 players with 5 Wing leaders, each in an EOS, each with a power tank. Each with T2 large armor repair drones x 5. Locked on each other split tanking local and remote. Taking those guys out of the battle before the dps is a bad move. They will tank insane damage.

EOS and Damnation, Sleipnir and Vulture have an insane subcap EHP potential. They are the only ships in EVE I would call true fleet tanks.

Perhaps switch the fleet / field roles of the Eos / Astarte.

Information Links need to be applied to Energy Neutralizers to be considered effective, at current, they do not. But a 44.65% Bonus to Range and effe

Or fix the Astarte's issues so that a blaster boat can be considered as useful as the others good instead of switching to a different system and yelling fixed.

All the Fleet Command Ships except the Damnation are poor.

Fleet Command Ships are meant to provide bonuses while on grid with the Fleet, the damnation works because it has a resist bonus AND an Armor HP Bonus. T2 resists with resist bonus and HP Bonus gives the Damnation a massive tank.

The Rest don't even compare.

The Eos is the worst of all due to how limited and lame information warfare is compared to other types of warfare. It has a drone capacity bonus, yet has the bandwidth of a vexor, A dumb Armor Repair bonus, and finally a Damage bonus. I don't know who thought out the bonuses on the Eos, if I was the boss I would have to ask for their resignation.

The Vulture has two ******** optimal range bonuses for 5 unbonused hybrid turrets. It is purely inferior to the Damnation it can only get 1/3 EHP.

The Claymore I could see working with roaming gangs, but I feel that it needs more.

Focus in the main problem, the reason for not to use the EOS in batelfield is the information modules, ok the ship doesn't help
but you do not see the Proteus with gang links neither.
