how would people feel about a button next to quit that you could click and would quit the game when your venerable aggro timers have gone.

*doesnt work while clocked*

You find your self in a worm hole or distant system, you have killed the people you needed to but you need to log asap without being scanned and killed, you choose this option and while you sit like an ass for 15 mins while your aggro goes from red to yellow eve quits for you.

thoughts?

Didn't CCP recently remove the display of aggro timers from the top left corner? To be honest, something tells me CCP don't want it to become easier to avoid combat by logging off.

looks like you want to set your ship to disappear at the appropriate time that it already does. There doesnt need to be a new feature for this just that the mechanics of logging off need to be set so that your ship disappears when it is supposed to.

I seem to remember something along these lines being discussed at fanfest. I believe, if I remember correctly, that if you log the game will keep you logged on until your ship actually disappears rather then log and pray. There would be an option to cancel the log off off action if you were to come under attack. I think its only speculation but it would be a notable change as people wouldn't have a surprise to waking up in a pod, or worse in a station in a new clone.

I don't know how I feel about this, I think I would have to see it in action first.
