From the fanfest footage everybody at ccp, seems to be a director of something, lead specialist in some aspect .. or some other kind of guru in his officebox.

Do actually normal people without any special title on their business cards - or even people without own businesscards work at ccp, or is even the "cleaning woman" a specialist of facility managment and director of the hygiene department and leader of team "Mr. Shine" and member of team "strange stains on keyboards" ?

Maybe it's BECAUSE they're a director/specialist that they're appearing on the stream?

There is no cleaning woman at CCP.

There is only Hilmar.

The Janitor is expert at hamster first aid and emergency revival (including furry CPR) when the server goes down at midnight on Sunday.
This is my signature. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.  Without me, my signature is useless. Without my signature, I am useless

They have like 500 employees and they let the managers show up on stage ... probably the right thing to do.

Also like to point out that the devs are the "grunts", the coders that do the bidding of the technical producer and CIO. He has the power - the devs do the work...

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

Do you think so?
From my experience the managers are the last people who know whats going on.

OP implies that CCP is the only group of people in the history of humanity who created fancy titles just for the hell of it.

yeah, I really do. I have my own company - and I work for other companies...and some of them are large insurance companies... and most times, they do not come up with fancy titles.

Even I (founder, ceo, cto) do not have a fancy businesscard... Im just that alien guy that will work in your company and optimize your software.

You really believe that? Sure the receptionist probably knows more about who is having an affair with whom and some coder may have better insight in a certain bug or something if that is what you mean by 'whats going on'.

yes, I do... I just typed a lot to underline my position, and deleted it, because my englishskills are not good enough to give it a good argumentation - sorry about that. Also thought that I drifted off to much from what I was originally saying..After rereading my post (in bad english) would stand ALL of them in a bad position...and the truth would hurt so much, that you would not take it serious enough - so I will not post it.
