What are you going to whine about now it turns out the vast majority of botting occurs in highsec?

http://bit.ly/GQp2pQ
(yeah I'm sure there are better pictures)

From what I can read:

The Forge: 24% (hello CNR & Market bots)
The Citadel: 16% (CNR bots)
Lonetrek: 15%

Which is a total of 55% of all botting happening in Caldari highsec alone.

The entirity of nullsec combined seems to be a single digit percentage.

Or, tl;dr - its your highsec buddies doing all the botting.

When the data doesn't fit your theory, CONSPIRACY!

I liked your post because you're an example of the problem

So you somehow think dots add something to your post. Sense maybe? Sorry to break it to you, but they do not.

Which presentation this data comes from ?

If you look into it, a lot of "widely known" 0.0 botting regions appears as almost bot free... Roll

They are called an "ellipsis"

I have them to slow down the reading so the OP can understand what is being said.

so yes my dots add something... a pause.

Also conspiracy guy... unless they just banned EVERY bot in the game...
The chart is indeed not correct, because every bot was not banned... (and I am going to say... if they knew about a bot they banned it) So they do not know about every bot... so that would kinda be like drawing a pie graph of the pop of each state... yet not knowing how many are really in each state...

I tried to catch a bot for three days until it started moaning and laughing at me in local.

Turns out carebears are gonna bear and a neut entering local makes them POS up in much the same way a bot would do.

This, IMO, is why people think it's all bots.

If you go on certain websites and look at the bots for sale, you will notice they are nearly all mining or mission bots, not ratting bots.

That's not what that word means.

Trying to look smart is backfiring

You need to give evidence as to how the banning of thousands is not a statistically relevant sample, with a clear and documented bias.

So you just suck at explaining what you are trying to say, and have to put pauses, in order for people to understand what you are trying to say.
Gotcha.

Still makes no sense though.Even with pauses. maybe try something else? Like explaining what you think and why?

Can I please see a chart which compares people in region and percentage of bots in that region?

Also how is it possible to be sure those percentages in your pie chart are correct? Because if it's identified bots then those are banned and effectivly putting all numbers in that chart to zero.

Also please show me next to that the chart which indicates howmuch bots "earn" per region they do their work in.
For me personally it doesn't matter if they make 100 ISK per hour or 100 mill per hour. Bot is bot.

more like Osmon

mission botting is huge but receives very little attention - maybe because mission runners are afraid of being looked down upon the way miners are once it becomes public knowledge that their occupation can easily be automated, maybe because mission bots spend most times in their own deadspace pockets and are thus less visible than ratting or mining bots or maybe because they don't compete directly with players for limited resources.

in contrast everything we heard from ccp about market bots so far implies that they receive far more attention than the numbers of detected bots would warrant.

Every time someone wants to take the toys away from highsec carebears (120mil per hour incursions, or whatever) the NPC corp whine alts badpost the same rhetoric; there's no risk in nullsec because it's all bots RAR ARAR ARARAR RMT raRARARAR

I'm pointing out they're idiots.

The Grammar Nutzi party is displeased at your improper use of ellipsis. Ellipsis are used before or after a sentence to indicate something previous has been said or there is more left to be said that for whatever reason, was left out. Basically, you use it to remove stuff.

Example:

Full phrase "When I am alone I will pretend I am a super hero"

Ellipsis before: "...I will pretend I am a super hero."

Ellipsis after: "When I am alone..."

You are using ellipsis instead of a comma. Commas are meant to create pauses in a sentence, not ellipsis. They are also meant to be used for combining two incomplete sentences together, to a limited extent. For this heinous violation of grammar, the Grammar Nutzi party will now have you taken away by the SS (Spell Smart).

Not sure what your getting at, botting is bad regardless of where it happens. And while I personally disagree with the sentiment that null is particularly safer than high, bots don't seem to be a part of the reasoning behind those that do.

well thats because majority of players (not sure about percentage) are in high-sec. So no surprise there.

Its botting they know about...I get the impression they don't know about all if it, the majority of it.

Its also quite funny how they made some jokes about multiboxing yet seem completely oblivious to the fact that some of the multiboxing tools are botting tools and completely break the EULA. You can see these dudes all the time running incursions and mining.
