To understand how high sec pvp died, you have to understand how high sec pvp lived...


This is a bit knee-jerk as I have not seen all the crap that is being spewed out of clown town, but I need a forum to express my fat nerd rage which has clearly triggered my emotional eating and I feel that if I don't cookie right now... I might never cake.


My motivation:

I kill the crap out of any fool who falls for the ol' switchero, and it never stops entertaining me and thus I give CCP money and it's pretty win-win.

What I just heard and my reactions:

Stealing will now make me a Suspect:
Makes sense when you think about it. I like shiny new things!

Suspect means the whole system can get to third base with my ship:
Not sure if want, could be cool. Do they have a sister? This has potential at least.

If when said entire system goes all red box on me and I mop the floor with them I take a sec hits:
Oh hell no.

If said entire system happens to have a +5 carebear in it who dies horribly too, I take a sec hit that makes suicide gankers lol:
This makes me question EVE as a PvP game. Right now there is something for everyone, changes like this force me out.


So either I have been misinformed or you have set the stage for what can only be described as a "Quaaids noob buffet blaze of glory" that will send so many new subs running for the hills that brb food

So I can pop my +5 alt in a noob ship and destroy Sec on every griefer in that system?

If they are too stupid to leave I can run a whole system to -10.00?

It'll just make suicide ganking the only viable highsec pvp method.

And if they completely disable that as well, i'll just be joining their corps directly to gank my 'corpmates' hulks that way.

I think PVP'ers need to stand together and increase our pvp activities in highsec in relation to how much CCP tries to dumb it down

everyone else that initiates and kills people in (high or low) empire gets a sec hit, stop complaining. You can't get below -5 for kills.

Why do non-pvper's chime in on these threads? If CCP made some really sweat new asteroids for you, I wouldn't rain on your parade.

I've done A LOT of can flipping, even before people started calling it that. And I really like the proposed changes.

I don't remember if Greyscale said anything about killing someone who's attacked you because you're a suspect, also giving your a sec hit. Be if that's the case it's no big problem, since it's NOT going to be a Felony, so you can't drop below -5 by doing it.

And you can fix it up using tags, so no more annoying sec grind.

Still... ore thieving is quite dead as a profession these days with every carebear and their mom flying around with Orcas, if even ore-stealing professionals like Tenaj from Took-Ur-Stuff finds it hard to make any money with anymore it these days.
