check your math ccp.. they still can track battleship and applying 4000 dps to any battleship after this new change. Against drakes 400-600 dps.

It's a nerf. It just doesn't solve the problem.

I dont think the problem was that they 'could' track battleships, it was that they could track anything at all. Destroying Battleships, slowly, isnt that much of an issue and tbh pretty much to eb expected.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

I have no experienced of this in practice, but five minutes' EFT-warrioring shows a Tobias-web, dual FN TC Avatar with Strong Drop still able to easily apply several thousand DPS to a full-transversal BS from 10-80 km.

That suggests that once a Titan has finally locked a BS (5 mm scan res lol), it'll be blapping time again. What?

But it can no longer instablap a cruiser or battlecruiser - nor can it blap 5 ships in five cycles. It can only blap three at most, and that's if it hits all of them. THEN it has to relock.

Thats assuming idiots keep bringing small ships to a cap fight. Anyway...

Titan 1: Locks targets 1-3
Titan 2: Locks targets 4-6
Titan 3: Locks targets 7-9
Titan 4: Locks targets 10-12
Titan 5: Locks targets 13-15
- - - - -
Titan 32 : Locks X-Z <-- Means large numbers of titans still comming out.

Yeah, just have to call and practice not targeting the same ship. Still works at half the effectiveness, I am thinking there will still be more raging and further calls to just nerf the feck out of titans, but god knows its the idiots that kept stupidly using crappy ships that was the problem as they didn't bother training for a cap ship, didn't bother to be in alliance with cap ships, and they just kept on charging at something they couldn't handle.

Really, using large ships to pop smaller ships while sacrifcing huge amounts of tanks is "meta-gaming a sandbox" anyway you can (means being creative, which is what EVE is about...making the game yours) and CCP took that away from titan pilots. I see it as whiney losers as the problem, to afraid to bother risking a Titan they won't bother to aquire and the loss they may experience, who stupidly assumed their smaller cheaper ****** ships in huge blobs would win the day yet the Titan Alliances refined the blob tactic by cutting the number of smaller ships and increasing the number of bigger ships (force multiplier). HELLO! Modern armies do the same, we don't storm beaches anymore so I can't understand why being inventive and comming up with a better plan then the standard BLOB vs BLOB vs BLOB dirty nasty group action will always work (until someone came up with the titan blob and suddenly...its not fair? whats fair about EVE ? Straight )

Yeah...this required it's own thread instead of going in the one specifically talking about the Titan nerf already.

Bad math is bad.

Tracking Nerf + Scan res nerf + Lock nerf. Yea, it's a nerf. A carrier could align and warp before a Titan gets a lock on it after this.. "balance".

And lets not pretend. This "balance" was done so we would play with the dust bunnies. Who was going to siege a dread when we all knew super cap fleets were out there? Pre Dominion Sov, bankrupted high Sec PI taxation, Titan nerfs. EVE is really taking it on the chin for a bunch of free to play GI Joe's.

If Titans and Supercaps are given by the alliance once the char trained I guess I'll train and apply. mmmmmm...noes?

Wasting a Tobias web on a blobtarded Titan? Meh. That's heresy!

Problem with the forums these days... way too many forum alts talking trash.

Next you're going to say that using Tornados for suicide ganking is an "Innovative" use of the ship? LOL. There is nothing creative about Titan blobbing. Its natural progression, get into as many of the biggest ships you can get and blot out the sun.

A wild noob question appears! -what nerf? Something on Sisi or something?

95% of the players are loving EVE, the other 5%? On the forums.
