Anaconda and Python mine BPO's missing

Before the last patch I was the owner of both an Anaconda and a Python mine BPO. Today when looking for these BPO's I could no longer find them. I had recently transfered them between characters via contract so I checked the contract to make sure they had gone where I thought they had. The contract does not display any items anymore and if you hover over it on the contract list it displays some garbage item codes instead of the item name.

So I'm wondering if CCP has just deleted them entirely? Can anyone else who owned either of these BPO's or copies of these confirm for me that they still have them?

If they have been deleted I will be a little bit sad as while they were useless they were pretty collectable and had a certain amount of value to them.

PS. A corp member just checked if his was around and its missing too. So any patch notes on this or any CCP input? Not cool.

:CCP:

My BPO and the mines themselves that I had sat in Jita have been removed, with nothing in their place

I don't own any mines or mine BPs, but it'd be pretty sad if they're all gone forever, and it's not just a temporary error. :|

Wow, in my view a very very poor decision to remove such an element of the history of eve.
Not a big part sure, but significant nonetheless.
i certainly hope it is reversable, and that it is done without delay.

CCP, what you may see as a usless item that is no longer usable in game is actually a rare piece of the sandbox's history.

Simply deleting these from the game is a crappy thing to do, and to be honest shows a limited understanding of your players and the sandbox nature of the game.

In Eve, where a player makes his own story, many people become collectors of rare items. You (CCP) just broke that.

It was a bad thing to do and you should feel bad!

I had a bunch of mines in my box of memorabilia as well. It's indeed very uncool if they've just been 'poofed'. Especially for the people that had bpo's for them, because those are quite valuable. I actually know a collector who bought a few of them a while back and I really don't see the point for CCP to even touch these items.

I'm guessing this came with the whole 'let's make EVE easier comprehend for noobs', but they probably won't ever come across one of these mines ever.

Going after the keepsakes of EVE's history is a VERY bad thing. It's like demolishing a museum to put in new housing.

Uh, what about those of us that paid money for those blueprints, do we get any kind of reimbursement? Or do we just get stuff stolen from us without so much as a sorry?

Hi,

Yes, this happened because of a thing that I did. We're looking at our options right now, but there are some other things I have to sort out first today. We'll get back to you!

PS My player account owned both blueprints, I understand your pain.
