When clicking links the IGB always loads the page on a tab I'm currently using instead of a new tab. So if I'm on a killboard, the only tab in the IGB, and then I click a link from someone in chat, the link begins opening in the killboard tab. By default opening links should open in a new tab.

I'd like to set a default group of drones and then have a hot-key to launch that group. I'd make using drones a lot easier.

While on drones, a hot-key to have drones start targeting and attacking without having to specify a target would be nice. Drones autoaggress when you are attacked AFTER they are launched, if you were attacked before you have to specify a target before they start auto aggressing.

All warfare is based on deception and logistics. Battles and soldiers are secondary priorities.

No decent Damage report window.
No way to turn off the "popup" damage window without turning off damage reported to logs.
Logs are Crap.

What I would like to see is something more alone the lines of a scrolling Overview for damage. Basically a window that acts very similar to the way the Overview works (including a ton of filters). It also needs to have abbreviated damage messages.

This would go a long way to usability and knowledge of combat for a lot of players I think. People would have a better idea of real world workings of their ships, instead of theorycraft EFT crap.

If this is to much to ask, have the log written to the .txt file in realtime instead of when you warp off, that way we can write our own damage parsing programs.

Here's another specific action that seems very slow: LOOT ALL

When cleaning up wrecks I use this all the time. Three observations:

The base process of loot all seems a bit slow. I realize there's DB work underneath this, but there also seems to be a fair bit of window shenanigans going on. Maybe it can be optimized.

The slowness is compounded when you have multiple stacked windows (especially container windows) that you're looting. Typically I salvage a bunch of wrecks and let the loot pop to cans, then open all the cans and loot all. The whole button/item transfer/window close/new window display seems very very clunky.

Not really an optimization, but a consistency issue. The loot all button should probably always close the looted window if looting succeeds. There might be a case where this is bad, but I can't think of it.

hi. i'm not sure if this is client side or so, but i would like somethign changed on the inventory overvieuw.

where you can very nicely see how many items there are at a given station and how many jumpst that stations i removed from you, it would be nice to also see that total amount of m3 in that specific station. saves some time calculating that if you are moving.

thx

Several things comes to mind, I hope it is ok to put them in one post:

1) The Optimize function on the auto-pilot is painfully slow when having more than 12 waypoints defined, (Yes I know it warns against it), but the algorithm needs optimnization.

2) Stacking items in places like assembly arrays is very slow (at least for me)

3) More an annoyance, rather than a performance issue, dragging a stack on top of another stack of the same type in your cargohold fails, if you are using cargohold extenders, and the cargohold is already filled beyond its "non-expanded" capacity, whereas dropping it besides the other stack, and selecting "Stack all" works.

Little fixes to help for pen input devices like tablets

Maybe software keyboard button or up/down arrows for quantities fields
Gestures recognition would be almost too much

Assets window to search thru contents of cargo containers too (didn’t work last time I tried)

In assets listing add [+] next to container name to show what is in it instead of right clicking to view contents
Same thing for ships, but separate fitted stuff from "in cargo"

Container window layout add fourth option
Just like the standard icon view but using smaller icons so you can see more icons in less screen area

LP store listing add description and/or attributes so you don’t have to "Show more info" for every single implant to find the right one
( revising names of implant maybe not bad idea just like you have done to missiles, call it something that noob can understand like "mining laser speed" not "Snake turd A@032.0"

I have no time , but I do have more ideas, CCP contact me directly if you care to find out

In case it hasn't been mentioned, this one should be easy and make life much better.

When you schedule an industry job how about have it default to the station the BP is in (if it is in a station) instead of having to manually select it every time.

Okay, I may not have been playing EVE very long, but I have noticed one thing that consistently bugs me. Navigation in crowded areas. It's all too often that I attempt to warp after exiting a station, or simply try to maneuver in tight quarters like an asteroid field that my ship gets hung up on an object and twitches around like someone kicked it in the head. This is especially tedious when it comes to larger vessels like battle ships and the few capitol ships that can fit in a station. Having the pilot simply be smart enough to fly the ship around an object in space would be an excellent feature. Either that or a means to manually maneuver the ship until it is clear of the object would be cool too. Would even make setting up containers and other anchor-able / jettison-able objects, since they can't be launched or anchored less than 5000m from anything else. At very least, let us pick or adjust our orbital path somehow. Being a lowbie who's more than 10 days out from being able to even sit in a decent mining barge, let alone being able to equip anything that would make it useful, being able to maneuver in tight quarters would be a serious asset, and might even shave HOURS off of setting up over the course of a week. Thank you for your time, and I hope that this will be "liked" by everyone who has had their ship caught up on something.

Bishop: You can pilot your ship freely by double-clicking in space. It's not the most elegant solution, and it can be annoying when you're already tied up in a stargate or a serpentine asteroid, but it works. (Keyboard directional navigation would be really nice.)

For great love, add the ability to shift- or control-select a bunch of cans in the overview, right-click, and Loot All In Range.

That might be dumbing the game down too much, I don't know, but having just completed Noctis duty in a group op last night it looks very appealing.

Lets begin with something simple (or -er) that should be doable:

LBM = left mouse button

1. When using the starmap and rotating the view while LMB is being held down, do not let the client select or pick solar systems. Selection should only happen when you specifically LMB click one.

Automated zoom and focus are useful but because the current functionality solar mapping can get really frustrating.

2. Option to turn off ALL tooltips that appear anywhere while hovering the mouse pointer over any object.

It is good that they're available but there also should be an option to turn them off, completely.

People and places / Bookmarks (personal and corporate)

Option to set expiration time on bookmarks for each folder / subgroup

So if there subgroup let's call it "Salvage" you can set its time to 2 hours and every bookmark in this group would disappear after two hours of its creation

Drones interface window

Put basic command button icons like "engage target", "return to drone bay" and such, on right side of each group header to reduce time for right click and selecting drop down menus

Example:
Read "[ ]>" as nice engage target icon and "[<]" as return to drone bay and ignore dots (.) (i have no time for making pretty pictures)

I would love to have at least one client stable and in a perfect universe, ie 4 months ago, 3 clients stable on the one computer. Its not too much to ask on a top of the line XPS laptop that is now 8 months old, is it?

Everyone else asks for new ****. I want what I had.
