first !

also please make copying and loading bookmarks (in the inventory or containers) and their general handling faster

it takes several minutes to load ~250 bms from a container and move them to my own BMs

its also impossible to see if anything is actually happening while copying/moving/loading them

Real Suggestion #1: Station Items tabs, like the way you can in a POS would be nice for all the hoarders of items. Search function works well but if you want things to be tidy (and possibly run faster), tabs could work.

Ooh, I have one!

When you open jet cans, loot containers, wrecks, profession (Radar, Salvager) cans, add a nice "Loading..." text while the client is waiting to find out if it's empty, and a nice "Empty" when the client has confirmed with the server that it is indeed empty.

When undocking, I can often issue and execute commands before the scene even loads.

On the stupid animated login screen, I can usually get my password punched in, and have half the game loaded before the stupid 3D animated screen has loaded. At all.

edit: has anyone mentioned brackets yet? Seriously, what's up with brackets? Why are they so bad that fleets have to shut them off in PVP? Why can the client render high detailed 3D scenes easily, while it handles 2D objects like it's 1980

double edit (after 15 likes): how come when you warp to a grid, it waits until you're on grid to start downloading information about that grid, instead of pre-loading it mid-warp? It's not like the game doesn't know where you will land.

While I'm sure this has been reported, getting rid of the gate jump lag when jumping into a system where the gate is camped by a large (250+) fleet would be great.

message would also be a nice addition

might stop people from hammering the button over and over again just to get in the system when in a fleet of more than 20 members (hammering the button might stress the server)

the message should ofcourse be very reliable !

Stop the items window from seemingly re-load every single icon that it has to display.

It's almost as if rather than creating the bitmap once and rendering it multiple times, it's going into the resource DB and re-creating it for every single occurrence in the folder. It can take ages to have all of the icons appear for what should be a relatively trivial rendering task.

Client Optimization Ideas:

#1 - Allow users to logoff back to character screen instead of restarting the client
#2 - Along the lines of loading notifications, either add some text string stating that the container (whatever it is) is loading, or some kind of spinning or animated "progress" or "loading" image (a la contracts searching)

I'll add more later if I think of more that haven't been mentioned already

First, I still feel you need to clarify what the LIVE team does exactly? It seems like this overlaps with Team BFFs "thousand papercuts" project? Or are you something different? DO you not focus on papercuts and on iterating certain features beyond just "fixing" them? Or? Take a moment and clarify a little more on what we should be expecting from you please.

#1 - Security Status Gains are not working correctly. If multiple people get kills on an NPC the security status isn't gained like it used to be. A petition confirmed this was worthy of a bug report, please look into this - it affects low sec residents heavily with social activities and opportunities to come together to work up some security status as a team and have fun together. Currently, when we need security status we have to split up and go into multiple directions alone, ruining our social gameplay.

#2 - Secure Containers -- Each client has separate settings for locking things on containers when dropping them in? Why aren't these set server side? If I'm managing a corporate hangar, I want to tell the CONTAINER how to act for everyone, not just for myself. If I want a container to NEVER LOCK STUFF when things are dropped in, but then people start dropping things in and it gets locked - then we have to unlock it, and then stack it all.

After that, we're dealing with the whole issue that you can't "Stack" locked things - which makes it a pain to tidy up a locked container because you hae to "unlock" - "Stack" - "relock" and we all know that is F-ing slow on 1000 items in a container.

Set a setting for configure "Allow stacking of locked items" or not (some people may want individual stacks at all times in an OCD fashion - I don't know.

I know you're doing some changes to the inventory system from the CSM minutes - but I figure Secure Containers aren't going anywhere anytime soon and that you can lock stuff in those containers.

#3 - Corporate Recruitment Advertisements... why can I not just renew my "old" recruitment ad? Why do I have to keep copying and pasting and blah blah blah? Please - just make it easier to refresh these advertisements.

#3 - Multiple Market Order Management - Handling multiple market orders gets a bit tedious - especially in the hundreds. Although the carpal tunnel is only a small part of the issue - the 1500 clicks required is a bit too much. Perhaps allow us to modify market orders directly in the market window (highlight which order is ours, allow us to double click it to modify the price and confirm broker fees, etc?

I've had to use my Macbook Pro lately for some EVE gaming while I'm away from home for an extended period and I've run into a few frustrating isues.

#4 EVE Doesn't recognize my Logitech G13 when I SHIFT + Commands, it totally ignores it (works on the keyboard) but the Shift is recognized when typing stuff. Not sure if this is a driver issue or what, or if it happens on other logitech peripherals, but I can't get it to work. Macbook Pro - G13 OSX Snow Leopard.

#5 - User Interface Window "sliding/resetting" still occurs on my PC EVE Client after cache clearing. I'm about to bite the bullet and reinstall EVE - but most noticeably is that my chat windows will go to the top of the screen and my "locked targets" bar resets to the top right after I move it away.

Having newly opened windows/containers not auto stack. Even jump around if you have pinned it to a desired location.

Anything that can be customized should by default have an export / import function just like the overview.

Right now things like the market quickbar / new neocom we have to reproduce on each toon for every machine or go figuring out the character ID and start copying / renaming files :(

Also - please let's all try and keep this on topic so the devs monitoring it don't have to read through pages and pages of game feature requests (not to say that those aren't valid and worthwhile - just a different thread)

You could load first the amount of items that there are in the hangar, then Generate the amount of blank icons, and only then customize them for what they are... this way you may continue to take some seconds to see what you got there but will not be trolled again =D

- When logging-off don't resize the game window keep it maximized if previously maximized, also there should be a way to swap to an alt in the same acount without having to log-off to te logging screen.
- And there should be a way to automaticaly stop the training of a char if starting training on an alt of the same acount.
- Also in the Character Sheet the PLEX area shoud recive some more love.... Make it show the remaining subscription time and you guys could also show the unredeemed plex there like items. ( It would be nice to manage it like POS fuel )...
