Dude, spamming every single bloody thread isn't going to help you.
Relax. At least you can play the game, not to mention that you actually had your petition answered. There are people who can't get in game at all. People who are stuck on update loops and whatnot.
The devs are obviously already aware of your problem. They're probably working on it. But there are more serious issues at play here, and they have to prioritize.

Chill, take a run outside or have a nap. Check back later and see if it's been fixed, if not, check back tomorrow. Just relax.

I do not wish to start a flamewar or anything. No, I don't think I'm more important than others. In fact, my issues are pretty minor compared to what other people are experiencing.
But spamming won't help you. I'm also fairly certain that CCP is doing more or less everything they can to fix the issues people are having. But they can't magically fix everything in 15 minutes.

Also, remember a bunch of the other patches? Give it a few days for the hotfixes and whatnot. Every EVE player should be aware that patch day should be plural. ;)

Hi all,

Just checking in to say that we're currently testing out a fix to a lot of the problems posted here. We will let you know when it has been deployed. Sorry for not replying individually, we're working on it.

How about someone at QA remembers that patch day being plural might amount to Subscriptions being singular.

Got home to my main computer and having problems with the patch as well. Very 'nice'.

Or perhaps the players can remember that every MMO has had a bad patch here and there. Not to excuse CCP for failing to fix issues pointed out to them in testing, but really, threatening to quit makes you look like a whiny child. Stomping your feet and crying won't make them work any harder on the issues they're already working on.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

What about 64 bit support?

1.Updated client via in-game patch, messed up the client, with repair tool included.
2. Uninstall
3. Tried reinstall from site, installer buggy.
4. Downloaded the 3 install files, run the installer. Install completed.
5. Trying to run the game without success: unsupported 16 bit application. Come on, i cannot believe it that you've deployed without 64 bit support....

When the fix? Not a workaround....

Thanks.

PS: actually test before deploying, do not make the users test it for you, is not elegant this way at all.... We pay you to deliver a working product.

No threatening to quit, I like this game way too much. But I do believe that others are not that attached. However, that doesn't make it less true - at some point you get fed up with endless frustration and you just go away.
On the point with other MMOs having bad patches here and there - yeah *Here And There* not one out of two.
I wouldn't mind getting finished patches with delays rather than half-done jobs on time.

As a linux user I expect more problems than others but this is widespread. I don't have the moral to try anything further today.

When/if you find the moral back, head for the Linux forum.

As much as I hate to help an AAA, there may be some solutions to try. ;)

Bookmarks in context menu (right click in space) are sorted in random order now (not ordered). They should be ordered by name as it was pre-patch.

I do understand the minor issues on patch day and time needed to fix those.

However I do not understand the continuing failtrain with neocom which is one of the key elements of the game play.
I do not forgive or listen any excuses trying to explain why it is such damn hard and time consuming to even try and fix it. Is it really so difficult to admit that it is junk?

If you want to be proud of something and call it as "improvement" instead of "feature nerf", please do at least try. New neocom is rock bottom of things which have been released during past 6 months. Totally unacceptable quality and usability compared to what we used to have! Even blind man could see that much.

The issue you are experiencing has nothing to do with 64 bit support. There are currently 37 000 players online TQ, a lot of them are running on a 64 bit OS.

What you are experiencing is something else. Have you tried rebooting your computer and then without starting any eve client or anything else, run the repair tool.

The reason why you will have to reboot is to make sure that there are no locked files from other programs.

Please let me know how that works for you.
