Why does Eve online have such a low player base ?

Is it because of the hard learning curve , or is it that new players do not like to stare at good looking ships for 6 months before they can use it. Or is it that pvp needs a change , not just a click and wait affair , not just show up with more ships than the next guy or hope my 400 mil isk ships matches up with this guys 2 bil isk ship ?

Why is it that games like SWTOR instantly grows to a player base of over 1 mil in less than a montth and WOW have over 10 mil subscribers , but EVE online does not grow that fast ?

eve lacks players mainly because its a too big game

Must be the lack of shoulder pads in EVE.

EVE is a game with risk and requires you to think and have a spine as well as an imagination.

Most of the people who play WoW and SWTOR do not have these qualites.
