With EVEMon started, go to "Tools>Options>General" and click on the "EVEMon Data Directory" button.

Auto-patched into the new release a couple hours back. Love the new features but it's crashed twice in the 90 minutes I've been running it. (Evemon has stopped working, blah blah) Windows Vista. I'm guessing it's crashing when it's trying to refresh the characters as when it's happened I wasn't doing anything actively with it.

Am I the only one having a problem with it crashing? Hmm I will mention that I have quite a lot of alts. Maybe I'll restart my machine or something.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version. I also see that this is not the place to report problems with EveMon.. my apologies ;) So far it's running again.

Edit 2: crashes on me again.. argh

It crashes for me constantly too. Its simply buggy.

Crashing issues too sadly Sad

It'll be working fine and then will just stop responding, the only way of killing it is to use task manager.

Windows 7 x64.

Since the patch I have been getting crashes constantly as well. Windows 7 64bit

I've switched it to update char sheets every 12 hours.. so now it only crashes twice a day. Better than nothing ;)

EVEmon...is the best. If you don't have it, get it...but never admit publicly that you don't have it yet...:D

Evemon was the best. Until it started to crash constantly. Over to eve hq until they sort it out.

Does it show any error message/details/stack trace? Haven't noticed any issues while always trying running the latest build.

The thing is that it does crash but not on all users (like me for example). Still can't determine the cause as crash reports don't reveal the blamer.

The only thing that is known is that it crashes when EVEMon updates a monitor. Which one? Don't know. Have to be either Employment History, Contracts or EVE Mail/Notifications (cause those where added or refactored in the last release).
So if anyone can pin point the monitor in blame, then we'll have something to start with.

Fact is that without me being able to reproduce the crash, it's difficult to debug it.

Ok,

I have disabled all updates except skill queue. I will turn them back on one by one until I can hopefully determing which one is causing the crash.

It turns out to be a runtime crash not associated with the written code. Looks like crash occurs to those who monitor a lot of characters.

And in less technical terms...

Fixable? I do have a number of toons in evemon. But it has been running rock solid for almost a year until the most recent patches.
