Tried to quit EVE at least 3 times, but RvB keeps getting me back, lovely folks, lovely explosions, lovely no drama pew and no worries

and for the above post, the choice wholly depends or your preferred use of a 'tea pot'....

I wish I was told about this when I first started playing. My biggest dilemma doing pvp as a new player was the cost associated with it. Having minimum amount of isk to replace losses steered me away from pvp. With ship replacement and frigate / cruiser class battles this is awesome.

Lol RvB helped us win a big fleet fight against Nem3sis...they just hopped in system and we said "hey you want to come tackle a bunch of BC's for us so we can blap them" (we in T3's) and they just hopped in in frigs and AS's and just SWARMED!!!!!OMFGTHEYEVERYWHERE...waffles+RvB= <3

They pay you back for the loss or get kicked from RVB. RVB rules prohibit podding other RVB members.

Today has seen nearly constant fleets of 40 guys going at it, resulting once more in hundreds of wrecks around gates in our combat area. Both corps have grown a lot since CCP advertised RvB on the client log-in screen, resulting in about 1200 members for each right now.

Despite being an old-ish player (Jan 2007) I'm terrible at PVP. Been mostly into industry and missions. But I would like to get better at PVP. So would RvB be a good place to learn or are you looking more for people who are already good at it?

Perfect place to come. I have been playing this game since 2003 and been entirely industrial focused. I had maybe shot one or two people. You can actually see here on eve-kill exactly what I had killed: http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=105810

I joined RvB in November of 2011 and in the four months since I joined I have gotten 1,000 kills and am leading fleets in mass. Join now. My recommendation is to start with T1 frigs fit T1. Learn to lose them in mass. That is what I did. If you look at my losses they start as all T1 fit Incrusus or Rifters. Now I am starting to fly T2 ships but everything is T2 fit. Soon Faction ships. Just get used to loosing stuff in mass and have a good time.
