Great job on banning botters... now work on Jita

Jita spammers are essentially doing the same thing botters are, using programs to spam their scams on jita's local channel. It's time to work through and ban these.

Let me tell you how much worse it was before CCP put in the "report ISK seller" button. Now, you ignore 20 people in Jita and it's pretty much silent.

You can easily ignore local chat in Jita and block the annoying ones. You do have a block capability you know.

If CCP cracks down on Jita there probably will be unforseen circumstances - the spammers will move to other local systems (which they do to some extent now). Spam-message cargo containers will be anchored on every gate - like they used to be. People will start emailing spam again, like they used to before the CSPA charge. Etc.

It's always good to leave your enemy a way out otherwise he starts to get creative. Let them have Jita local. If you don't realize that 99.9999% of everything you read in Jita local is a scam, then you deserve to be fleeced.

If CCP just removes "local" and make it so you have to "join channel" then that alone would kill the jita spammers. For the most part anyways.

I know I'd always leave that channel whenever I venture into jita...

There are definitely spam bots, but there are definitely some people who have nothing better to do than to spam ctrl-up and return all day. vOv

I just minimize local on my Jita alt.

Make all the stations in Jita destructible so we can conduct an isk interdiction.

Just like people who mine ice 23.5/7?

Though there's always new spammers, I guess they cycle their bots about because people recognize the names or something.
