Hio,

i took a break from eve, now i moved to a new location and have new plans, including getting back into EVE and incorporating a 47'' LED TV into this process.

my iMac will sit in the living room and connect to the TV for movie playback.

my idea was, to use the TV also as a second screen for EVE. the TV will run on native 1080p.

when i was still playing, it was not possible to use a second screen in eve on the imac.

i dont really have time to scoot through the forum and look for possible answers (forum search didnt really help) so quick and dirty:

is it possible to use dual screen (fullscreen, not windowed) on the imac now? so that one screen (imac) has the usual HUD, and on the second screen (TV) i can put additional windows like market, missions, etc?

I know nothing about macs so this is probably no hel what so ever.

Can't you just plug in the TV and set it as a primary monitor?
That's how I'd do it on a PC

Not sure about how window management on a Mac works, but in order to use two screens on Windows I use the "Fixed Window" setting, which makes it windowed but at full-screen resolution and without window borders. That effectively gives you fullscreen with you computer not complaining about moving the mouse between your screens and different apps.

well.

the reason why i want "real" fullscreen support is, that anything else tends to give lowish fps (not?)

back when i last checked, it didnt work on the imac though.

and i guess i will forget about eve on the imac and just feed it to my windows beast. fps were not to great on the imac anyways, so. meh!
