So, you go into local, and there's 20 people in system. The painstaking process of doubleclicking all the faces to get intel (corp/alliance) begins.

I propose that this info be readily available in the chat's member list. There is already quite a bit of space to work with. It should be 1 point smaller font than the character name and the character name should be bolded to make it stand out, but it would be nice if it took on this form:

Maybe even color the tickers based on the color you have set for them in your overview settings (for most of us, green for corp and blue for alliance).

Or, perhaps with the new Carbon UI, a mouse over hologram that will display corp, alliance, sec status, character age, etc. But that seems like it might a little too much. =)

I think this will help streamline intel a bit. And maybe even have the option to sort the list by name/corp/alliance or whatever. Of course, maybe there should be an option to turn it off in the ESC menu

If it's not blue, odds are it's going to kill you.

What more do you really need? Red, orange or grey = bad guys.

This is a good idea. After all, I had it occur to me a few times. Lol

The utility of this is to separate distinct groups of friends from each other and to receive a rough estimate of the potential help that a target may get when attacked.

Such a change would be a definite improvement and not tip any form of a game balance since it's available equally to everyone.

Thumbs up.
