What if local chat could be hacked, (most likely only in Null or Low Sec, as Concord would monitor High Sec)

It could start by a ship at a gate leading to the target system, hacking the gate's update function. This would create a copy-error in the local chat once they entered.

To make this interesting, it would replace the true pilot's ID in local with a duplicate of whichever name would be immediately above it, (or below if it were going to be first on the list).
It would be obvious whenever you notice the same pilot listed twice, (both listings would always be next to each other, as the fake ID is simply copying the one above or below it).

This could be done multiple times, each time the hacking ship on the inbound gate would place the error immediately before the protected pilot jumped through.
(Of course, the local chat would list the correct number of pilots, it would simply show a duplicate entry each time, becoming very obvious the more who came in this way.)

Those inside the system could then do a correction, requiring them to visit the gate used for entry to check and correct the glitch. This would correct local chat each time it was performed, by the oldest hacked entry present being revealed correctly.

It could be practical for an option to allow this to be performed while cloaked, although the gate would need to be targeted first while uncloaked to begin it. Time length suggested 1 minute to hack, and 10 seconds to correct. (It has until noticed and a ship sent to the gate in addition to this 10 seconds).

Local flawlessly showing every pilot's presence for all to see is an entitlement that has no justification.

If the system exists in the game, players deserve the ability to deliberately affect it, not just watch it nerf certain play-styles while enhancing others.
