Greetings, for me it would be nice to have search directly from chat window... For example something like "/? search query". Thanks for reading.


Edit: result should be new browser tab with results

Why? It sounds like you simply don't want to bother opening a browser tab and searching yourself. It would be a bunch of work for CCP to implement this for no reason other than the lazyness of some players. Besides the fact that having a specific Google search would alienate people who don't prefer Google.

There's nothing wrong with the current system, it's not that hard to just open a browser window.

Firstly Yes I am lazy (in some cases and those many :D)! I like type command rather then open browser type favorite search engine and type what want to search for. It would help me and perhaps some other. It just a idea for discuss. I do not force anyone to use google. May be just use for example /web google.com?q=search for should be enough.
