Back before Bonks, our high-value special blinks were more or less like normal blinks, just with an increased amount of tickets and some specialty achievements tied to them :)

We're sooo close to Blink's biggest celebration yet! Only 750b to go, and while that may sound like a lot, we expect to hit 100T sometime today, on the twelfth. The celebration begins in a few hours, and I can guarantee that no one with a Blink account will want to miss the prizes we have this time!

I found blink right here on this forum, and one of the first promos I played in I won a Rattlesnake! Also my other favorite promo win was a Nightmare, it was great! Thank you SOMER blink! And thank you SOMER Blink staff!

The date was December 30th, 2010. I was just about finished clearing a belt when my corp chat started blinking. Making sure to keep an eye on local I opened the corp chat to find my Corpmates talking about this new hit eve-gambling site they have heard of called SOMERblink. Maybe, just maybe, if I had closed my chat channel I would have never become addicted to this... THING... That now has total control over my wallet. I asked in chat what I had to do to get started and soon enough, I was blinking like there was no tomorrow. I spread the word to my fellow alliancemates and they too became addicted to the craziness of the Blink machine. I thought our alliance may have been headed for an isk-depleted nightmare with how many people got interested. Undocking only to gather more iskies for blink to feed on. Some of us(not me), however, managed to do great, winning blink after blink against their own alliancemates. This would go on until we had no more iskies to spend. Ok so here's my story.

About a year ago to the day I was idling in corp chat when one of the members comments about something called "Blink". A conversation ensues and the word "Blink" is tossed about a few more times. I ask WTF they are talking about and they tell me about a site called SOMER Blink where you can buy tickets to lottery style games in which you can win ships and items.

I was a little sceptic at first but I headed over to SOMER Blink to have a look. There in front of me were many pretty colours, images of beautiful EVE Online ships, countless items that I had before only dreamed of owning. I noticed the low ticket price on some of these lotteries and decided I was going to bite the bullet and deposit some money.

This couldn't have been easier, I just right clicked the corporation name and selected "Give Money". I handed over 100mil and was a little tense in case it was not a legit site. I gladly saw my 100mil deposit show up in the top left hand corner of the site. I also gained something called an "Achievement" which meant that by simply depositing isk I had been given some more free isk by Somer.

I saw a Carrier Skill book lottery and decided this was what I was going to blink on since I was actually going to be able to fly one soon. A few seconds later the lottery ended and I was greeted by flashing blue buttons and winning notifications!!! To my surprise I had won the Carrier Skill book!!!

Your first win was Carrier Skillbook on February 23, 2011. Back then, Blink had given away only 20,919,642,795,532 ISK of prizes.

And that is how I became hooked to one of the most fun and exciting things I have done in eve. Now we are 80T on and just on the door of 100T. This is going to be a massive celebration and if you can please join us. Join the in game channel #SOMER Lotteries or head over to the website either in game or out of game.

One major thing that is important with Blink is the staff. They are the best customer relations specialists I know and are a credit to the game (take note CCP). Join the fun, spend some isk, or sit and chat and you will soon realise what an awesome group of people Blink is and will remain.

Be warned though, Blink responsibly. Blink is highly addictive so please be sure to only spend what you can afford.

LOL! Perfectly well put! Blink is an amazing game where you can win, you can lose, you can break even. You can even do all three in the same day. XD There are a few things that really make it great though. You have a chat channel with SOMER employees and other blinkers who are for the vast majority, cool fun players to be around. You also have Promo blinks which is a free prize with a larger rafle system done multiple times a day! Free chance at money, a ship, whatever. So if you still haven't tried it out come join we blink addicts in the chat channel and start out with a support system.

Thanks to SOMER Blink, all staff and founders etc. for creating and managing such a wonderfully constructed program. :D

There has always been this love/hate dynamic between Blink and myself. Some days, it was the best isk/hr I could pull. Others however,...seemed like i might as well dump my isk into a trash bin to keep the station bums warm with. Through it all, I would like to say I have had an amazing time with everyone whom I've shared my experiences with in channel. No matter who they be, even reds and active WTs; we're all there to blow off some steam and have a little fun. Really, even though I don't play anymore, I stick around for the community. It's very nice to see everyone simply sharing something outside of their respective corps and alliances. Truly something that can't generally be found anywhere else. The various Blink staff is always helpful and gregarious; making sure everyone is well accommodated. Drop by the site, but most importantly: Come by the Somer lotteries channel. It really enhances the whole experience. We're all looking forward to meeting you!



Congrats to Somerset Mahm and Co for hitting this most epic of Milestones! Here's to another 100T!

I found Blink about a week ago, and I have a rollercoaster of a time since. Big smile I've won and lost isk, usually lost, but then I hit it big and can stay in the game. But like a rollercoaster, even the excitment of going down and wondering when the next swoosh up is going to be is exhilarating.

I first deposited about 200 million, and started betting on raptors, and I started winning a couple when I saw something. BLINK has achievements! Now I started playing to get those achievements and earning extra ISK by gaining them, which is just a bonus in my book, I'm a sucker for an achievements page ;)

So, I'd definitely invite anyone who wanted to try BLINK to give it a go. The tables cost anywhere from 2 million for ships like interceptors, to mega tables where you could win a Dreadnaught for a mere 160 million if you're lucky!

But be warned! Blink is highly addictive and can drain your wallet pretty darn fast. Shocked But that's part of the excitement of BLINK, 'I GOTTA win this next one or I'm done for the day." And your adrenaline starts pumping. Smile My advice is to stick to a reasonable deposit a day, if you make 12 million a day, deposit 2 and go for a raptor. ;) if you make more then deposit more, but stick to your limits if ya don't want to go broke! :) Don't say I didn't warn ya.

Now we're only a couple hundred billion away from the 100 trillion celebration where people are gonna make a TON of ISK, and I can't wait

Hope to see some new faces in the SOMER Lotteries channel, it's a fun place to hang out even if you're not playing. ;)
