Hey Evefans,

Some questions I've been wondering about, answer them if you can:

1. How have frigates fared in wormhole space? Can sleepers detect cloaking devices or covert ops ships? How do Interceptors fare?

2. Can starbase structures be built in a wormhole systems?

3. Thirdly, are there crew in eve ships? I know the capsule is supposed to be a control means for the capsuleer, I mean, ships larger than a frigate have ports and windows. Carriers have human pilots on their fighters/bombers.

1.Some sleepers can see through cloaks, and Cov-ops in particular are essential as scanning/scouting ships.

2. Yes, you can anchor POSs in wormholes.

3. Yes, according to the lore ships to have crews, however for gameplay purposes you can pretend otherwise.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.

1. Frigates without cloaks fare very poorly. I led an expedition of intrepid NPC-corp newbies into a wormhole in my first week. It did not go so well. Generally you're looking at a battlecruiser or larger to fight sleepers. A very well-tanked battlecruiser.

2. POSes, yes. Ones you can dock at, no.

3. Yes. According to this even a rifter probably has a co-pilot, engineer and gunner.

I seriously doubt that...

1. If you are cloaked you are undetectable, period. The only way to become detectable is to be decloaked such as when coming within 2000 meters of some other object.

C1's might be allowable to have a frigate in a support role for PvE activities but you'll really want a cruiser or battlecruiser. The damage and difficulty produced by sleepers just gets increasingly harder, so C3's require very heavy battlecruisers, C4's battleships, logistics, C5's capitals, and C6's will require a well coordinated and large capital fleet. So, Frigs in WH's aren't really seen in WH's except for scouting.

2. Whatever you want to do with a starbase anywhere else, you can do in a WH.

Just for the record, you can do almost everything at a POS that you could do docked. Only thing you can't have on a POS is a clone, I believe that carriers can mount a clone vat though. SO, if you have a carrier in a correctly fitted POS, its pretty much the same thing as being docked.

EDIT: Rorquals and titans can fit clone vat bays, not carriers.
