Simplified drone repair upon docking.

99.9% of the times when I use the repair function upon docking in a station, I want my drones repared. And not just any random drones, but specifically the drones that are in he drone bay of the ship I'm currently occupying. And I believe the situation is similar for many other PVE players, that they either don't take armour damage, because they shield tank, or else they take care of their own armour damage with a fitted repper.

It's the drones. Just about every single time. Which makes it annoying to have to go through a billion clicks just to get them repaired.

Right click your ship and select "get repair quote"
That will repair the ship and all mods / drones

Decrease the drop of Meta 3 and 4 armor plates, so their price will go up and T2 plates would be viable. Maybe some other tweaks like reducing mass of T2 plates.

Basic capital refitting in space 101:

You need fleet member who is also in capital (configured)
You need to be in POS next to Ship Maintenance Array

to do refitting. All good from here, but the issue is how you do it.
Basics are that you need to open up your fitting window, remove old module from slot and replace them with new one.
It is all nice but takes too long time. If you are example in supercap then all the time you need to configure yourself from capacitor fit to tank fit. And moving items off into cargo and then moving items from the cargo takes too damn long time.

Solution:

As all pilots know that if you want to change tech 3 ship sub system, then what you do is drag and drop new sub system into old place. Moving sub systems cargo to cargo or hangar to hangar. Make the same thing optional on capital pilots. They open fitting window and drag and drop new module where old one is. Replacing old module with new one, placing old module into your cargo hold.

It is more like lazy mode, making flying capitals more fun.
You do not have delay of refitting ship in space also you can make now less actions in space.

Even way better make this option possible to all pilots in station or next to POS Ship Maintenance Array. Refitting with drag and drop where old module is. I'm amazed that this haven't been made yet. Seems like after new fitting window came in, then old fitting option stayed (you need to remove old module to replace slot with new one) like it was many years. Why we need to make 2 clicks if we could just change the fittings with one click ...

As a new pilot (well went on 7 year hiatus), one feature I miss is the ability to fast track skills and/or remappings. When you get in the game you are stuck for a very long time with lowbie stuff, there is nothing you can do to get shinies faster.

I would love an option for trading PLEX for skill points, traded at lowest possible setting (20?), so one PLEX equals the amount of points you would amass training a skill for 30 days at 20 points. This way, someone who likes to sink a lot of time into the game will be rewarded with faster skills (just like any other MMO out there).

Also, how about ability to buy a remap for PLEX? Trade 12 PLEX for 1 remap.

Would really like to see the ability for anybody in a chat channel to have two new options available when right clicking the top bar of the window (or tab if grouped).

- Clear content

  • to clear the chat window of past conversations, just like if you had closed and re-opened the window

- Show MOTD

  • will re-post the channel MOTD on your client, cause if it has been bumped off the window the only ways to see it is to close and re-open the window or have a channel operator post it again - wich will affect everybody.

"Stack All" now also sorts everything. Kind of annoying sometimes with the hangar clutter I have. If I wanted to sort stuff, I'd hit the "Sort all" button. "Stack all" should JUST stack all.

Since iirc, our eve chat windows are more or less run over and IRC network, perhaps allow some IRC commands, such as /clear, /msg and /motd? (Not sure if the last one is an IRC command, but could be good for eve)

Also, a faster way to change autopilot settings would be nice. Using the map to get at the map control panel seems to take forever with the new map. I'd suggest either adding the control panel to the neocom menu, or adding right click functionality to the route display since that's when most people need to change it; once they realize that their settings are wrong for what they are trying to do

The "Eve Websites" drop down menu that is at the top right of the new home page.... please make it exist on all the sites it links to as well. That way its easy to move around.

I'm pretty sure this isn't exactly a small thing, and I don't know how many times it has been mentioned through the ages, but:

How about Windowless Floating Locations, or WFLs?

The ability to detach a (perhaps limited) number of bookmark locations from the People and Places window, and have them available on the UI for easy access. In a speed dialing sense.

You could go with a traditional style of windowless icons like the one already in use for targeted entities, or have a brand new (minimal and sexy) interface that could borrow from the -route/way-point displayed in space- style.

Ideally, clicking or double clicking a WFL should select the bookmark to which we could normally warp by hitting 'S'. But if (pre)selecting a bookmark is a coding nightmare, you could go with the traditional right click drop down menu used on location entries.

I'd really like to have auto-scrolling stop when I scroll up in chat window. That's how it works in mIRC and in Windows Live Messenger, and it's really neat. Why can't we have that in EVE? That the chat window only auto-scrolls down, i.e. when people write new stuff, if the window is manually scrolled all the way down?

It seems as if CCP has implemented this improvement. Yay!

When a fit is linked into a convo it has to be double clicked twice for it to pop up fit view. afaik - repeatable without fail

Incarna - Newest business example of mismanaged capital. CCP - Continuing to gank independent PI producers every day

In EVE trailers in some episodes u can hear fleet conversations which sound kind a nice because of the sound effect (like a real radio coms)
Maybe CCP could add something to spice up EVE voice Blink (of course optional)

Faction Warfare

On the star map when selecting systems to be shown with enemy/allied occupancy, could the friendly and enemy highsec systems also be colour coded, in additional colours to differentiate them.

This would give greater visibility for route planning and avoiding or perhaps not avoiding enemy highsec.

Faction Warfare

In the corp recruitment search boxes there is a tick box for faction warfare, when ticking this box would it be possible to have further tick boxes to identify corps in the various factions.

"report a bot'ing corporation"
"report a bot'ing alliance" button

Pretty tired of reporting Coven, Inver Brass and Stain bots characters instead of whole organized groups. Reporting group possibility would save me a lot of my time. Thanks in advance.

Adding a column to the overview that shows that Ewar effects are being applied to your target from anywhere (not just your ship) would make larger scale ewar tactics a lot more effective. The information is already available to the client thanks to visual effects.
