New website looks great but 2 questions:

1) I don't see where there is the ability to activate the corp forums . This coming at a later date or is it hidden somewhere ? :)

2) The video for the fancy new website promised ship spinning .. mine no spin .. wut ?

When docked, press the "Enter Ship Hangar" button in Station Services. Enjoy the spinning!

And there is also a digital counter now so you can see how much you spin :)

It works for me in Chrome, in Windows. Some browsers do not support webgl yet.

Your browser must support WebGL to allow you to spin, otherwise you will see a static image.

The corporation forums are not yet activated.

Out of game ship spinning?

You know ... while I understand that it's considered hip to express adulation for ponies and perform remedial tasks for hours like moving your mouse in a circle.

I do wonder about you people often.

Can someone please post a link to the ship spinning page(s)? I looked on community.eveonline.com and also on Evelopedia and am using Chrome, but have not been able to spin anything yet.

IE should be supporting webGL in the near future now that webGl hit 1.0 specifications and will be built up to it.

However my chrome and Firefox cannot seem to load ship spinning up right it only displays engine trails and lights.

We decided we needed to do some more work on the corp forums before unleashing them on you guys ;). I posted a news item yesterday about this right here. The teams involved in building and testing them wanted to do some more load testing and stuff and we'll let you know when we have a proper launch date in mind.

Just so you know, login in different accounts on the forums messes up the top part of the website.

You have to spin more than 10 times or something like that before it shows up. Bottom, center, of the screen.

EDIT: Only works when docked.

Linux and Mac users are having issues with the spin site, I've tried it on 2 different Linux boxen and no luck, but a crappy Windows box with a 6150LE built into the motherboard (about 6 years old and can't even run EVE) can spin ships reasonably well on the site.

All of my Linux boxen pass the spinning-cube test, both in Firefox 10 and Chrome 17.

Nor have I. I'm not really a ship spinner, but I zapped mine around a few dozen times to see what it was all about and I'm no wiser. Didn't see a counter anywhere.

Don't worry about it - it's not exactly important, is it?

LIES, it is the most important part of the game, a true EVE player would know this!

Look down at the bottom middle of the screen.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.
